A number of scholars have been warning against the harm & discord spread by Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq of SalafiPublications (UK) for years. May Allah be kind to us & him, rectify our affairs & his, & guide us & him.
Some of them have done so by broad generalities in their advice, hoping he would take heed & rectify himself. Others sent advice directly or through trusted advisors. Some were more stern & direct, like the great scholar of al-Madeenah, Shaykh 'Abdullah al-Bukhary (may Allah protect & preserve him), who said:
"...In every crisis, whether it be religious or worldly, there are those who thrive in its ruins & profit from it..."
"...[He] wants to be known for opposition & resistance, and that he is the concerned one with intellect...
"...They speak ill of the people of knowledge, understanding & investigation..."
"...They claim that the people of knowledge do not understand the situation, that they do not know, & they only give verdicts based on what is said to them! What is the difference between you & ‘Amr ibn ‘Ubayd, the Mu’tazilee, when he said about Ibn Seereen & al-Hasan that they were scholars of [women’s menstrual] pads? What is the difference!?..."
"...He lives among the polytheists, while he accuses the people of towheed of falling into polytheism!?..."
However much apprehension you may have regarding this issue, these statements here are accurate & hit the nail on the head. May Allah bless Shaykh 'Abdullah for these words of concern and warning against evil.

Since there has been no hint of any desire for rectification (rather quite the opposite), we openly warn against Amjad & the harm he continues to cause, seeking the pleasure of Allah, without any fear of blame, without any concern for frustrated trolls or deeply offended blind followers. We stand with the Book & the Sunnah, with our scholars who teach and clarify, in solidarity behind them, as we always do. May Allah keep us firm.
May Allah reward our scholars for their sincere advice & warnings; may He allow us to benefit from that & stay safe from disgrace, harm & discord.
While advancements in AI might seem troubling & threatening from a number of angles, there is a wonderful hidden benefit to consider.
The possibility of faked video/audio which might seem like stand-alone proofs require people of Sunnah to know about and return to their principles. In this case (even before AI): Recordings are never stand-alone proofs; they can only be used to strengthen a narrator's testimony. Meaning: The person who has the recording must be known & offer his testimony before the recording could be assigned any value. Then, further conditions would apply to using such a recording as proof.
This is what I have learned from our scholars decades ago in detailed Fiqh discussion, when there was much less of a chance to "doctor" footage or "splice" recordings. Recordings are only a "qareenah" (circumstantial support) along with someone's testimony; they are not valid as proof when isolated without their creator/narrator.
Of course, this is if the people are returning verdicts to judges and issues back to scholars. If they wish to follow their desires and play by their own rules with anonymous accounts on social media, then real people of Sunnah who know their religion ignore them, while they might still have a limited effect on some of the heedless & ignorant Muslims who do not know these rulings. (The greatest form of self-harm is: Ignorance of essential matters.)
Again, the "wonderful hidden benefit" is that Muslims would see a greater need to learn knowledge-based principles in interacting with claims & evidence and be more diligent and precise in applying them. With AI-created and AI-assisted content spreading everywhere, even the general masses of people are losing trust in stand-alone video/audio content, something that might have fooled them 10 years ago.

Back to basics: The report of a nammaam (tale-carrier) is not accepted. A nammaam is a faasiq upon major sin. When the nammaam approaches you & tells you that "So-and-So has been talking about you," rebuke him & scorn him for his terrible crime of nameemah. Do not build anything on his narration. Reject & rebuke the major sinner who narrates insults about you back to you; such is a mighty weapon against fitnah & an admirable virtue befitting an upright Salafee.
Today we see people of Sunnah (who should know better) not only failing to rebuke the nammaam, but instead welcoming his filthy nameemah like some show of genuine loyalty & even declaring him a thiqah & his report of nameemah is to be acted upon!! Disgrace upon disgrace.
We need the tarbiyah & manners of our scholars now more than ever.
I advise my brothers & sisters to listen carefully & follow the best of this beautiful advice, much needed solutions are here by Allah's Permission. Some of us need to hear this loud & clear: Fear Allah & drop the blind loyalty & stubborn bigotry!

Imām @rabee_almadkhli Advises to Return to The Two Noble Scholars: Shaykh @dr_albukhary & Shaykh @Arafatbinhassan - ḥafiẓahumullāh
The noble brother Moḥammad @aslamhaashim - waffaqahullāh - wrote:
❝Before the COVID-19 pandemic, after the fitnah of Muḥammad bin Hādī - hadāhullāhu lil-ḥaqq -, Allāh granted me and my companion Ḥanīf bin Sirājuddīn – Graduate of Islamic University of Madinah - blessing of visiting Imām Rabīʿ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī - may Allāh protect him, preserve his life, grant him health, and grant him a good ending.
Fearing for myself from fitnah, I asked the Shaykh:
❛O Shaykh, may Allāh protect you, if we are alive after your passing, to whom should we return?❜
He - ḥafiẓahullāh - answered:
❛To ʿAbdullāh al-Bukhārī and ʿArafāt❜ (may Allāh keep them firm upon the truth).❞

@SulaimanHayiti Pay attention to valid criticism & do not blindly defend your scholars with bias & bigotry, let alone your local teachers, when they are wrong. This clip from Shaykh Rabee' (may Allah preserve him) needs transcribed & emphasized.
Seeing some people chat away endlessly, loosely, without manners or limits, I think we may have strayed away from our basic fundamentals, like:
من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت
"Whoever believes in Allah & the Last Day should speak with good or be quiet." (B&M)
Al Hamdoulillah, this is a great day for the people of Sunnah. Jazaakallahou Khairan Abu Iyyad. May Allah help us stay firm upon the truth. Al Hamdoulillah.

Shaykh @Arafatbinhassan al-Muḥammadī - ḥafiẓahumu-llāh - wrote:
[Let not the people of falsehood rejoice or feel optimistic]
The people of Sunnah will unite, and those among them who erred will return [to the truth], and Ahlus-Sunnah will rejoice at their return. Blessings and goodness lie with Ahlus-Sunnah across all parts of the world.
Ahlus-Sunnah stand with their rulers and supplicate for them. Far removed are they to ever be a cause of stirring up tribulations.
The intelligent one is he who respects the truth and does not interfere in matters he does not excel in. For judges are three: two in the Fire and one in Paradise.
What occurs of tribulation concerning some who affiliated themselves with Ahlus-Sunnah does not harm Ahlus-Sunnah in the least. Rather, it is only the fulfilment of the saying of the truthful and trusted one ﷺ:
‘Those who forsake them will not harm them...’

A Salafi might stray from his principles here & there, even someone with strong foundations & insight! Human beings are not perfect.
The benefit of FOUNDATIONS (USOOL) is that they are easily RETURNED TO after neglect or mistakes. We ask Allah to rectify us whenever we stray!
Observation: Some people say that the reality of covid & vaccines (being fake) has become clear to everyone, even the most uneducated laymen.
Question: Are the scholars more unaware of reality than the most uneducated laymen now? Because we have not anything like this from them.
No true Salafi will speak bad about the scholars of Sunnah directly or indirectly.
So when you see a man speaking bad about the likes of Shaykh Abdullah Al-Bukhari ,Shaykh Arafat Abu Rabee , and other than them from the Scholars of the Sunnah and Salafiyyah then know that he is calling to misguidance !
