Ecology is one of the subsets of biology simulations for context.

I am using it in this specific example because it is easier to conceptualise as opposed to more complex model simulations like metabolism or neuron.
In this one specifically, you set some parameters like:
•⁠ ⁠birth rate of the different species
•⁠ ⁠⁠predator rate of the different species
•⁠ ⁠⁠death rate of the different species
•⁠ ⁠⁠temperature
•⁠ ⁠⁠water content
•⁠ ⁠⁠etc…
And the simulation tells you when one specie goes extinct and when the other does.
In this, specifically rabbit first goes extint, while foxes still kept thriving on existing energy. But at some point, since there was no longer food (rabbits) foxes then goes extint.
