'YouTube is LUCK.'

I saw this writeup few days on X. I laughed.

Why?

I once believed in the above.

It can be frustrating. Especially when you think you have done it all and yet not seeing result.

You believe you know better than those seeing results...

Let me say this clearly to you reading this.

Anyone can get lucky and get a channel monetised.

But no one can be lucky making over $10k every month consistently for over 1 year and call it luck. Make such across different niches and you call it luck!

Do you think you can easily move from $10k to $30k a month with luck?

Nah.

You have to be good in seeing patterns.

In creating strategies.

In reading audience and defining their psychology.

You have to be able to keep updating a system when you factor saturation.

Do you know the amount that goes in to be making such a month?

Its better you tell realise the gap in your knowl and seek for more.

What I know today is far better than 2 years ago.

And what I will know tomo will be better than today.

Go and keep learning.

I read your story, and this is what I'll say, when i started YouTube Automation nobody in my family knew what i was doing, to them i was a banker who goes to work everyday, i kept it that way until i resigned, i still didn't tell anyone, the only people who knew were my siblings because they are also on Twitter.

I went home one faithful day, and restocked the house, with food stuffs that lasted months, my siblings even took food stuffs to their various schools. My parents were surprised, i could literally see the expression on their faces, mum kept singing and singing, i was just busy dancing.

Our family house was still uncompleted, i sent close to 5M to my dad for him to complete the house, i also did boreholes at home, my family went from fetching water at people's compound to owning the biggest boreholes in our estate, now people queue everyday to fetch water for free.

First i need you to understand that your goal will never make sense to an average mind, your dad says those things because he hasn't experienced what youtube automation can do to one's life. Him telling you to learn a skill is his own way of looking out for his son. No parents wants to see their children jobless.

However i need to make you understand something here, youtube Automation is not a skill, it's a business model, and for this business to function well you need skills like, video editing, graphics design, how to script properly, etc. These are the skills that gives you an edge in the YouTube game.

In this YouTube space, you can't do it on your own, always know that, you need to learn from people who have achieved the results you're seeking, be part of a community that's active in the game, that way you learn new things everytime.

Remember this, you got nothing to prove to your dad, he's your Father, just keep doing what you're doing.

Keep your 9-5 job because you need the money to keep paying for some premium tools.

Keep showing up and connect with the right folks in the YouTube community, you will smile soon, trust the process.
