Heavenly Father,
in Your infinite love and mercy,
we commend to Your care Your servants Cody, Noah, Nicole, and Declan,
who laid down their lives in duty and sacrifice for others.
They served amid conflict and danger, bearing the weight of war's heavy burden.
Welcome them now into Your eternal embrace,
where there is no more war, no more tears, no more pain—
only the perfect peace of Your Kingdom,
where swords are beaten into plowshares
and the lion lies down with the lamb.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
Queen of Peace, and all the saints and martyrs who knew the cost of fidelity,
grant them the fullness of Your joy in heaven.
Comfort their families, strengthen their friends,
and bring healing to a wounded world that longs for the day when war shall be no more.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
May they rest in God's peace, free from all strife, in the place prepared for those who love Him.
Jesus died for us
Was tortured for us
He is a gift to broken humans
He is a teacher for the lost
He suffered so we can be forgiven
Jesus is love
Jesus is LORD
