@Simon_Ingari Multiple rounds, multiple candidates, multiple interviewers when there is a preferred candidate is a huge cost, that's waste. How many are even lost in that pipeline because it takes so long?
@KellyClinger@SharylAttkisson For sure it is directly related, but it works 2 ways. Fix the gut, fix the brain also helps. Avoiding processed food, probiotics etc. We are assaulted w/sugar & ingredients we were never meant to eat plus stress. There is a book I might suggest: Healing through the Vegas Nerve.
Product success isn't just about the roadmap — it's about the operating model behind it. Is your roadmap a list of things to do or outcomes to get behind? #ProductLeadership#OperatingModel#ProdMgmt
@allenholub It assumes the PO is the only one with access to the customer to 'assume' what is needed vs the entire team to experiment towards an outcome.

@allenholub imagine how much they aren't getting done because they are constantly interviewing and how much is being spent on interviewing people this much! This is probably one of a number of candidates. Waste!

Just finished listening to "The Motive" by @patricklencioni . A must read for anyone at ANY level in (or wanting to be) in a leadership role. Hint: It's not about the opportunity, but the responsibility. It's about motive in a servant leadership role.

There's a difference between a team focusing on events and process to deliver (predictably) against a roadmap set by stakeholders vs a team focused on solving customer problems one at a time to achieve business outcomes. #agile#productdevelopment
I appreciate that sustainable pace includes the idea of self care: 'that you should come to work every day rested, refreshed, and able to do your best work'. 'Own your craft' is not just in work hours.
There's no such thing as a Sprint "spillover." First, Agile has a sustainable-pace principle that says that you should come to work every day rested, refreshed, and able to do your best work. You won't be able to do that if some bully is pounding you over the head for more output. Next, a Sprint Goal is strategic. It is NOT "complete X stories." It's more like "make your user's lives better in some product area." You can easily meet that goal since there's no requirement or commitment to specific work. As long as you've made people's lives better, you're good to go. Your acceptance criterion is: "Yes, users tell me that this change made their lives a bit easier." Ofc, to do that, you need to talk to users. Do that.
