We heard @Tim_Walz wanted to do some traveling! While @RepAndyBarr hides from voters, @FayetteDemocrat will do everything in our power to do what the Republicans will not: tell the truth about the Musk and Trump giveaways and assaults on Kentucky families.
C’mon Tim, join us!
Real talk… if my daughter were a teen now, or if any of my three sons (5-13) came to me, told me they were Transgender, & that they wanted to know their options from dressing as their identified gender, to respecting their pronouns, name change, possible birth certificate change, the transition process (from hormone blockers to possible surgery-not immediate, but possibly before they’re 18), I’d not give one flying flip what the KYGOP thought. We’d be on the first plane somewhere safe where they’d receive the support & care that they (and we as parents) need, to help make the best decision possible. And if they thought they’d send folks into my home to remove my kids, good luck, you can’t Breonna Taylor us all.
After a long time in conference committees, SB 65 is now up for final passage in the Senate. This bill would undo Gov. Beshear's executive order last year to extend dental and vision benefits to Medicaid coverage in Kentucky.
Thank you @HelenforKY22 for running for KY state senate!
This is a special election in 2 months 😳 and @HelenforKY22 needs our help! Please give her a follow, retweet, and chip in to help her win! (1/2)
Gov. Andy Beshear: "If you are a school district that is not requiring universal masking, you are directly endangering the children, the staff, the faculty, everybody who is in each of your buildings and it is an inexcusable decision."
Three districts are making masks optional.
We put together a quick #thankyoukelly video for @kellyflood to reflect on her leadership.
Give it a watch. We think she's great!
