Most of Taemin’s fans are adults and aren’t going to go out and start smoking just because of a photoshoot. Just like they aren’t going to watch a violent movie and turn into criminals. Maybe you shouldn’t be consuming media like TM’s photoshoot if you can’t rationally consume it. Do you stop watching a movie because someone starts smoking? Likely not. Taemin isn’t romanticizing smoking stop trying to push that narrative on to him

It’s like when it comes to Taemin, every K-pop stan suddenly seems to have something to say… but often based on misinformation. Taemin in 2026 so far:

•Taemin sold out his Las Vegas concert in just 10 minutes and he is the first K-pop artist to perform Dolby Live
•First K-pop soloist to receive a dedicated exhibit at the Grammy Museum and by popular demand,it’s extended
•Digital single ‘Permission’ enters Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at #5 (barely any promo)
•Permission debuts at #17 on Worldwide iTunes Song Chart
•Long Way Home debuts at #22 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart (again less promo)
•He entered the U.S. Top 40 Radio Airplay Charts with his first English single “Long Way Home”
•He appeared at the Grammy Museum’s “Global Spin Live”
•First Korean male solo artist to perform at Coachella. He showed 6 new songs there and TAEMCHELLA ranked No. 2 on X’s real time trends in both the U.S. and worldwide, a feat rarely achieved by a Korean male solo artist
•He appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show
•1st K-Pop artist to perform "In the Paint" on NBA Nightcap
•He has performed at festivals and will continue to do so, because as he said years ago, he wants to meet fans all around the world. It is rare to find a soloist who performs in as many different countries as Taemin does.

On top of all that, he made TV appearances, gave magazine interviews, appeared as a guest on radio programs, fansign and prepared for SHINee’s album and concert..

Correction, he terminated his OWN contract. The wording of this is definitely intentional. Koreaboo I know what you are. Stay AWAY from Taemin.

[pel @6v6zone]

the way taemin handled everything speaks volumes about his character… he paid the staff out of his own pocket, bpm signed contracts without his consent yet he never made a fuss… who knows how many more things he’s dealt with i hope his new company treats him the way he deserves

[Taemlover @Loya_Taemint]

“SHINee’s Taemin personally covered staff salaries. His loyalty also stood out.

It has been confirmed that singer Taemin recently covered part of some staff members’ salaries out of his own pocket
According to a report by Sports Chosun, amid various complications that arose during the contract termination process, Taemin provided financial support for certain staff members in order to continue working with his existing team”
