Let kids enjoy their youth. Parents want the best for their kids, so they begin specializing at an early age. There’s plenty of time for that. Until then, let the kids imagination run wild & discover what the world has to offer. It’s how you build a better athlete & PERSON #OLP
I’m so sick of head coaches looking over guys cause of the lack of college playing experience. Some of the best coaches out there never played in college.
Players, Parents, and Coaches, we are hosting only 100 High School Players over the course of two events. If you want the opportunity to spend the day learning from the OLP™ Team, get signed up, now! It's a FREE event. Don't miss it! https://t.co/jafcLzj9BZ #OLPBTD
This is the Drive-Catch Method™️. It’s NOT a “kick-slide”. ALL of the movement begins with the left leg. The right leg is only along for the ride, until it goes to work in the “catch phase.” This movement principle is basic biomechanics.
Parents of recruits , Don’t let internet fame mess your son or daughter’s head up. We see it every year. Kids wanting to be famous gaining followers then get to college thinking it’s one way But their coaches show them it’s the other way! And they can’t handle it.
We don’t care what “technique” a coach believes in. If an athlete understands how to apply movement principles, he/she can adapt to any “technique”. Proud of the mental and physical growth @ThePrince_59 has made. #ELITEMindset#OLPBuiltToDominate
If you think you can just walk into camp and trust each other as a unit and work well together, you’re mistaken. The brotherhood aspect is built in the off-season, pushing each other to the limits in class and in the weight room. You cant trust someone you’ve never seen work hard
In other words: Just because we see a cool video of NFL OL using certain techniques or hear an NFL coach talking about how he teaches his guys to play, that doesn’t always mean it will translate to the HS level. This is why it’s so important to know your WHY behind your coaching.
Tips for Recruiting 🏈
✅ Be a great person
✅ Do a great job academically
✅ Maximum effort
💬 "Listen to your coach, listen to your parents, just give everything you've got, be a great teammate and it will all work itself out."
- Pat Fitzgerald
Don't make the same mistake twice. This means after making a mistake, keep your composure and carefully choose the right strategy for correction. Many athletes, after making a mistake, get too angry or they don’t think critically enough to find the right solution.
We can’t become desensitized to our kids being put in harms way. This isn’t funny... it’s not OK... it’s not “tough”... EVERY coach/athlete/parent that follows this page should RT with a demand for the video to be removed. @TheFBCentral you’re part of the problem... #RemoveIt
I want to thank @ChrisWard6275 and @KodyAfusia from @AllegianceOL for letting @Fearless_Giants come out and watch one of their training sessions yesterday. When you see them coaching you can tell these guys really care about the players and the game.
