There is something we need to understand about the attempts to smear and defame those who speak out in support of #Palestine and in condemnation of #Israel.

🛑It is part of the wider systematic attempt to erase and dehumanise the Palestinian🛑

It is to say that being pro-Palestine is inherently wrong and that Palestinians do not deserve advocacy because their plight is not legitimate. To condemn the killing of Palestinians is tantamount to supporting terrorism because they are not humans worthy of sympathy. To criticise those doing the killing is immoral and illegal because those being killed do not deserve life.

Some days ago, there was yet another attempt to smear me, bully me and harass me into silence. It wasn't the first. It wont be the last.... not least because i wont be silenced.

The outpouring of support that came from this is something i have never experienced in my life. I have never seen such unity in condemnation of injustice. My family will testify that i wanted to personally write to every single one of you who showed me support. But it became impossible as the tens turned into hundreds and then the hundreds into thousands.

From the bottom of my heart.... thank you to all those who stood up and spoke out in support of me and of Palestine.
