@RepMaxwellFrost You people are so stupid. Here is average airfare for the past 20 years. Dips for recession and COVID. Ignoring those, biggest 5 year jump was 2019 to 2024.
@DaveAshelman I hope you received a D on the project. If you offer a 10% discount, everyone will use self-checkout, even with 100 items. Remaining cashiers would be fired, and the store would raise the prices 10% to offset the discount. So you pay the same, cashiers fired.
@ojessie__ Dig in! That is a very healthy and tasty looking spread. It also required a lot of work, so I would be very appreciative for the effort they put in.
@fuller_sean@DemzDeliver The stores will raise the prices to offset the discounts and get rid of what few remaining cashiers they have. So in the end, you pay the same and cashiers lose their jobs. Do you people think any of this through??
@Turtle7288@DemzDeliver ORRRRR, raise prices 10% to offset the discount. Now everyone uses self-checkout, even with 100 items, to get the discount. Since everyone uses self-checkout, no need for any real cashiers, so the store fires them all. In the end, you pay the same price and no more cashiers
@DemzDeliver SOOOO STUPID!!!! Play this out.. If you go through self-checkout, you get 10% off. So store raises prices by 10% to make up for the loss in revenue. Prices are more expensive, so everyone uses self checkout for the discount. Now the store has no need for cashiers.
@BarbellFi That $53K per year will decrease buying power each year by the rate of inflation. If inflation (I) were consistent, then you would calculate the purchasing power in Year Z as Z = 53000 x (1-I)^X. So inflation was consistent at 2.5%, in Year 10 it would be worth $41.1K in today$
@SenatorHick@Hickenlooper@GovofCO
Governor Polis & Senator Hickenlooper, could you please explain to the people of Colorado the transformation that occurred during the 16 years the 2 of you held the Governors Mansion?
@GovofCO Once you finish your victory dance on Education and Technology, if you and Hickenlooper could explain the rest of this list comparing Colorado before you two became Governors to now:
@Gantzz32@300_guns@BernieSanders Look at several of Bernie's posts and you will see he says Billionaires and then specifically calls out Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos and sometimes Ellison. But never the Billionaires like Soros that back Dem candidates.
@RepPressley What if I am outraged by the number of Black and low-income people that commit crimes? Are you seriously assuming they are all innocent and are only incarcerated because of their skin tone or economic standing?
@JoshuaBarzon Careful with these calculation...all of a sudden you will get notice from the IRS wondering why you haven't paid both sides of FICA or income tax on that amount.
@SteveCr27216732@eagleiqtek But too many people wouldn't invest. They would upgrade their lives. Car can cost more, vacation more, ear out more, ... and the money disappears. For most people that aren't financially responsible, taking the win and owning the house prevents the temptation.
