First #SuPERCO2 paper just published in @ChemCatChem to seal the cation journey with @TheorHetCatICIQ. We list catalysts which need cations to activate CO2, re-interpret previous results in terms of cation-induced potential, describe cation effects on dissolution. (1/7)

We carried out a correlation matrix analysis on literature reports of Cu dissolution. Here, cations seem to favor dissolution either via formation of dissolution precursors or by stabilizing dissolution complexes. Excess cations at the surface may enforce Cu re-deposition. (6/7)
