@punishedsummers@The_Jellie_Man "Epicโs acting like theyโre getting paid by how long we spend on the game"
They literally are. They compete for the same payout pool that they also give up to creative games. That precisely explains the rise of engagement bait tactics and grind, especially this chapter.
@Hitman Help, I still haven't received the Muay Thai duck on the website! Is it a gradual roll-out? I have completed the live Elusive Target, and since refreshed the rewards page on my account.
@David_Mismo I'm so devastated by the news. Deep inside I REALLY hope that they shot themselves in the foot by miscategorizing some automated tools that don't qualify and aren't massively unethical, as GenAI. But it's probably foolish.
@Pichuy123@antdude92 *and besides the latter wouldn't really even be "generative". It would be entirely in check by said developers and be doing exactly what they want instead of generating a random result and making them pray it's the right one. That wouldn't even need LLM GenAI to pull off.
@Pichuy123@antdude92 If generative AI was used towards the creative process in ANY capacity, I do not support it at all. If it was used to do a menial task, that no one would have a single benefit on their personal growth doing by hand, let them. Although the latter shouldn't warrant a disclaimer.
@FurryMaoZedong@ChrisLMDGG@mahdy358 If it was common to find, people wouldn't be trading around for it. The point isn't to make a rare thing for people to gatekeep, the point is to get the community to work together to pass it around.
@FireMonkey Holy shit, a whole 1/47.06th of a level for securing a kill in highly unlikely conditions
No thank you, I'll stick to LEGO Odyssey for levels
@AntonKosyuga@evankinney If I were to guess, they animated both results in advance and were ready to load either according to the end results. Besides, the cutoff point where the difference would show was clear (the final fistfight before the winner reveal), and then all would have played out the same.
