@sbrammer97 @BluesReactor I think EDM absolutely would consider it. Getting a near 27 y/o elite center, a future 2C, and pick 11 is good value. Probably still short, and other teams could offer more. But if McDavid is traded, it would probably start a rebuild, which means picks&prospects are more likely

It’s all contingent on if McDavid actually wants out, and he likely would not have STL as a top choice, but EDM would not have great leverage in this situation.
