The JC Schools Board of Education unanimously voted to name the Jefferson City High School basketball court in Fleming Fieldhouse after Ogugua "OG" Anunoby, a 2015 graduate of Jefferson City High School and two-time NBA champion.
OG makes the final point, and pulls down the final rebound! What a great season for the Jefferson City High grad and now a hero in New York! The Knicks are NBA champions and OG wins his 2nd title! He also won one with the Toronto Raptors!

Catholic leaders are urging Congress to protect food aid and nutrition programs as food insecurity rises in the U.S. and abroad. Echoing Pope Leo XIV’s call for cooperation and compassion, they say access to food is a moral responsibility, not just a political issue.

Nobody grew my love for sports like Uncle Terry. Nobody wrote like him. Nobody did sports talk radio like him.
Sports can be so fun to cover, and nobody had more fun doing so than him. Never took himself too seriously but always valued accountability.
A pioneer gone too soon.
It’s with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that the great Terry Boers passed away today.
He was a one-of-a-kind Score original who we’ll remember forever.
We love you, Terry. RIP.
Keep your kids playing multiple sports for as long as possible. Don't listen to club coaches pushing them to specialize. They'll become more well-rounded athletes and people (and far less prone to injury/burnout) if they don't.
If you're good enough, colleges will find you.
Last year, Kansas City Royals reliever Lucas Erceg received a letter asking him to speak at a prison. Earlier this year, on an off-day, he drove 90 miles and did it.

The plan has been the same: stay home, help build the #Mizzou program, go pro.
But while Luther Burden III hopes to hear his name get called tonight, one voice will be missing.

Before the deals with Under Armour and Nautica, it was Luther Burden and a bag of Red Hot Riplets.
How a top recruit, a honey BBQ chip and a hometown decision helped #Mizzou become a national leader in the NIL era. For @CoMoSports

Kids today will never know what it was like to grow up with veteran sports reporters from major sports cities waxing poetic about sports, which in turn made us “sports fans” of them. THAT was our Twitter, and so many new voices were introduced to us over the years. Revolutionary.
Before racing against many of the best athletes in the nation at the Olympic Trials, @KewpiesT_F alum Chandler Gibbens found his roots in Columbia, unknowingly training for a sport that would shape his career. Read my @CoMoSports story for more. https://t.co/Ohi88MkT0q

Very proud of @CoMoSports standout @BrandonHaynes_ and one of my best J4180 students, @LivG516. Sad to see them leave the nest here at MU but excited to see the good they do in the real world.
From hands-on learning to study abroad, these students took advantage of all #Mizzou has to offer.
