Born as the trade mascot to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps EOD during the 1970's, still proudly the trade mascot of the Royal Logistic Corps, EOD to this day.
On this day, 30th March 1972. Major Bernard Charles Calladene, 415727 (RAOC). Officer Commanding of 321 EOD was the most senior officer of the Army's bomb disposal to be killed in Northern Ireland.

15th March 1972 - 23708134 SSgt Christopher R. Cracknell, & 23968517 Sgt Anthony S.Butcher RAOC - who were tasked to a suspect vehicle in Willow St, Belfast. On dealing with a device that appeared to be an RCIED that had failed, the device functioned killing them both instantly.
On this day 18th February 1974, 23835033 SSgt Alan N. Brammah (RAOC) was tragically killed whilst dealing with a device that had been placed by a roadside at Moybane near Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh. Laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery, Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Remembering with gratitude & pride - Captain Daniel Read of @11_EOD_Regiment, @UKArmyLogistics who fell on this day, 11th Jan 2010. Dan was tragically killed as a result of an explosion which happened in the Musa Qaleh area of Northern Helmand Province.

On this day 5th December 1972, 23687477 Sergeant Roy Edward Hills (RAOC) aged 28 was was killed during a follow-up operation to clear an IRA Mark 2 improvised mortar base plate in Lurgan town centre.
