Ruiz then threw the ball away (for the 5th time) and Arsenal didn’t get it back till 6:15

He then blew the whistle for half time at 6:27 meaning he allowed Saka just 13 seconds to walk over and take the corner

🚨 IFAB Law 4 states that players must wear shin guards that provide a reasonable degree of protection and are fully covered by their socks.

Footage from the Champions League final appears to show Khvicha Kvaratskhelia without shin guards when he won the penalty against Mosquera.

If that was the case, should he have been allowed to remain on the pitch in the first place? 🤔

And if not, does that change how people view the penalty decision?

The referee became a totally different person after the first half, giving all decisions to PSG and waving away Arsenal’s clear penalty. I have never seen any officiating as bad as that. I hope someone like him never gets to referee Arsenal match again.
