@ridwanullah Lack of empathy eroded by tribalism, ethnicity & religion is our biggest problem as Nigerians trust me even prayers can't help us until we change our mindset!
I made a quick stop at my former workplace today just to say hello. The warm welcome, the smiles, and the genuine surprise on everyoneβs faces reminded me that some connections never fade. Grateful for the love.
The journey continues. β€οΈποΈ

"The xenophobic attack on Nigerians in South Africa and in some other African countries is a call for us to come back and fix Nigeria. Nigerians should elect who they want to fix Nigeria, not anybody deciding what should be done. It is enough," says Yusuf Dantalle, National Chairman, APM, speaking on the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.

A year older today
Looking back, I've seen good days, hard days, wins, losses, laughter, and moments that tested me. Through it all, God has been faithful.
I'm grateful for life, grateful for the road I've traveled, and excited for the journey ahead.
Cheers to another chapter.
Happy New Year, Family ππ
Thank you for the constant love, prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering support you showed me throughout the first phase of this historic journey. None of it would have been possible without you.
By the special grace of God, we will be unveiling Phase Two of this journey in less than 60 days from today, and I canβt wait to take you all along again, stronger, wiser, and more determined.
To everyone who stood by me in public and in private, who checked on me, supported me, and believed when it was tough, I see you. I will take time to appreciate you properly and personally.
Today also means a lot to me as Iβll be honoured with an Award of Recognition at the IGEDE Carnival . Thank you for recognizing my little efforts and believing in this vision. To my representative standing in for me, thank you for carrying my spirit there.
This journey is proof that with faith, community, and resilience, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. God bless you all.

DAY179 NIG2USA ON A BICYCLE π³π¬π΄πΊπ²
I finally found a spot to rest before pushing forward again. But honestly, this desert is teaching me hard lessons. My water is completely FINISHED. Strange π’
I filled all my bottles early this morning, like I always do, and they usually last me till evening, but today, everything is gone already.
Out here, water is not just life, itβs survival.
And the painful part? Even buying it is a struggle. The exchange rate is draining me slowly. Every bottle costs more than it should.
Sometimes, itβs not the road that breaks you.
If you have ideas on how to save water better in the desert, please share. Right now, every drop matters ππ½π§

This evening, my host here in Mauritania, Mr. Sidi Brahim Dah @Kalakuta77 took me out with his family, not just to eat or have fun, but to make me feel at home. We shared laughter, good food, and beautiful moments as he showed me the true beauty of Mauritania, the places, the atmosphere, the warmth of the people.
What touched me the most was the love and care. From the way he looks after me daily, to this special outing, he has treated me not like a visitor, but like family. Even the clothes Iβm wearing today, he personally bought them for me, just so I could feel comfortable and belong.
Honestly, this journey keeps reminding me that God sends help in human form. When the road is hard, He places kind people along the way. Thank you so much, Mr. Sidi Brahim, for your generosity, your heart, and for making me one of your own. Your kindness will never be forgotten, and it will travel with me long after I leave Mauritania.
Family, please help me appreciate this God-sent helper ππ½β€οΈ

After my Mauritania visa was denied twice in Senegal, I honestly thought the road had finally closed on me. It was one of those moments where you sit alone and ask yourself, βIs this where the journey ends?β
Then Mr. Sidi Brahim @Kalakuta77 showed up.
Even before all this, he had been quietly following my journey online, encouraging me from Mauritania without ever meeting me. When he heard about the visa rejection, he didnβt hesitate. He stepped in from Mauritania, made the right calls, pushed where it mattered, and just like that, what felt impossible became possible.
My visa was approved and today, I am in Mauritania. But he didnβt stop there.
Before I even arrived in the capital city last night, he had already booked a hotel for me, paid in full, and stocked the place with groceries so I could rest like a human again. This morning, we sat down, ate breakfast together, and started planning my journey to Morocco, calmly, intentionally, like this struggle was his too.
I donβt even know how to properly thank him.
Some people donβt just help, they restore your faith in humanity.
The way God keeps opening doors on this journey, from Nigeria to this very moment, is something I honestly canβt explain. Every time the road says βstop,β God sends a person who says βmove.β Sometimes itβs painful, sometimes itβs ironic, sometimes it feels like a tragedy turning into comedy right before your eyes, but grace keeps winning.
Thank you, Mr. Sidi Brahim.
And to my online family, Thank you.
You may not wear suits or sit in offices, but you are my sponsors. You carry me with your prayers, your messages, your love, and your belief. This journey is hard.
But with people like you, it is also beautiful.
Congratulations, we made it to Nouakchott, the capital city of Mauritania π²π·.
The journey continues to Morroco... Soon.

DAY157 NIG2USA ON A BICYCLE π³π¬π΄π½ββοΈπΊπΈ
Today, I stood before the African Renaissance Monument in Dakar, and for the first time in a long while, my heart went quiet.
This statue is not just stone and bronze. It is a giant reminder of who we are. A man rising with power. A woman standing with strength.
And a child, pointing to the unknown.
That child unsettled me.
Because he wasnβt just pointing at the sky.
He was pointing at destiny. He was pointing at the same direction my bicycle has been dragging me for months now, from Africa to the USA.
And in that moment, fear crept in. Not the fear that makes you run. The fear that reminds you that your dream is bigger than your strength. That your journey is louder than your voice. That once you start, Africa itself begins to watch you.
This road has broken me, rebuilt me, tested me, healed me. Lonely nights. Cold winds. Silent prayers. And yet, here I am. Still riding.
Still believing.
Today, this monument spoke to me, βYou may leave this land physically, but you will never leave it spiritually.β No matter how far I go,Africa is riding with me.
Together we Ride. Together we rise.
VIVA AFRICA π.
The Journey continues to Mauritania.. Soon.

Pray for Me π.
God has been faithful to me from the very first day I left Nigeria. From Nigeria to Benin, Across Togo Into Ghana, where the whole energy of the journey multiplied. Down to CΓ΄te dβIvoire, where I received the Queenβs blessing. Forward to Liberia, where Monrovia embraced me. Into Sierra Leone, where Freetown became a home.
Through Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, where my faith was heavily tested on the road, but God showed up for me.
To Senegal, into Gambia, and now back again to Senegal. 11 Countries. Huge milestone.
But family, the road ahead is the scariest part of this mission. In a few days, I will face Mauritania, then Morocco.
The desert is waiting, endless sand, cold nights, burning days, and long stretches of road with no soul in sight. There will be moments when you may not hear from me for days. But know this, I will be fine. God is with me.
This journey is bigger than me. It is heavy, painful, lonely, and risky, but necessary.
Very soon, days, weeks, or even a month from now, many hidden parts of this journey will be shared. But as I press forward into the unknown, I need one thing from you:
Your prayers. Pray that God crowns my efforts.
Pray that He guides my wheels, strengthens my body, and protects my spirit.
Thank you, my family. Your love keeps me moving. Your prayers fuel my courage.

DAY151 NIG2USA ON BICYCLE π³π¬π΄πΊπ²
Dear @Akon
My name is Myam Emmanuel, known as EMMIWUKS, a Nigerian son on a bicycle journey from Africa to America.
Today is Day 151, and I am writing this from Senegal, the land that raised one of Africaβs most inspiring stories: AKON.
I am a Pan-African dreamer carrying a mission bigger than myself. This journey is for the orphans, the IDPs, and the forgotten children of Africa. The ones who sleep hungry. The ones who feel invisible. The ones who believe nobody is fighting for them.
For those without shoes, I ride barefoot.
For those without shelter, I sleep under the open sky. For those without a voice, I speak louder at every border.
But behind this mission lies a personal dream,
a dream inspired by a man whose story shaped my belief in possibilities: AKON.
Akonβs journey started right here in Senegal.
From a childhood full of struggle, uncertainty, and moments where life could have broken him, he carried Africa in his heart and turned his pain into purpose.
He moved from nothing to becoming a global voice, proving that a boy from Senegal can rise high enough to light up cities, build futures, and inspire millions.
What inspires me the most is not his fame,
but the fact that he never forgot home.
He used his success to power thousands of African communities, to show that no matter where you go, you remain connected to the soil that made you.
That is exactly what my journey stands for.
Just like Akon. I come from a place where dreams look impossible. Just like Akon, I was doubted, laughed at, and underestimated.
But just like him, I refused to stop.
So when I finally meet AKON, it wonβt just be a handshake. I want to share my story, my mission, and talk about how we can shine more light on Africaβs forgotten children.
Because sometimes one brother believing in another can change a whole continent.
From Nigeria to Senegal, from Senegal to the world, this journey is proof that Africaβs spirit cannot be broken.
Together we ride.Together we rise.
VIVA AFRICA.

The road is long, the sun is hot, and the mission is bigger than fear.

This morning, I set out to leave The Gambia, but I cannot go without saying thank you to the amazing people God planted on my path in this journey.
My Daddy, Hon. Dr. Pius Akutah Gbongbon
Thank you, sir, for the love, the fatherly support, the belief, and the connection you gave me, not just now, but for what is still ahead. You made so much of this possible, and I will never forget it. Thank you π
And to the Bangura Dynasty.
Mrs. Nanah Bangura, you gave me a beautiful home, a presidential-level lodge, from the day I arrived till this very moment. How do I even explain this kindness? Your generosity carried me. Your care humbled me.
And when I remember how your husband Dauda Musa Bangura treated me in Sierra Leone, and now how you continued the same love here in The Gambia, I know God truly works through people. I am deeply grateful.
My heart is full. To everyone who stood by me, prayed, supported, fed me, advised me, checked on me, thank you.
Today, I continue my journey from The Gambia, but your love is going with me.
Even if I sleep in the bush, the warmth of your kindness will always cover me.
