But @darlingstrawbie in your post yesterday you said you deliberately chose to not confront @ember_paradox in private because you felt he would lie to you, and that you didn’t owe him a private conversation to discuss this.

I directly addressed this in my stream, that you are just wrong here. You purport yourself to be Christian, you say you follow the precepts of it.

Well by not confronting him privately AS INSTRUCTED TO DO by Jesus himself, as it’s listed in Matthew (I read the requisite scripture passage on stream too) it directly addresses that you are instructed first to confront in private, allow for the individual to make amends, if they do not, then you bring it up with one or two other witnesses, and if they still refuse to make amends/repent, THEN do you go the route of making it public.

You did none of this. But went public first. Making a mountain out of presumably a molehill.

You didn’t even give embers the chance to tell the truth in private, you assumed he would lie to you in private. But you didn’t even give him that courtesy to lie to your face when you suspected he would lie, which would then have justified your actions.

Had you confronted privately, and had he lied then still, THEN you could have said “I confronted him in private and he lied” then you would have a point to stand on in this drama farming.

You didn’t do that. And that deserves being called out because you erred publicly your callout too should be public in nature.

I want to address the threat that was made to @darlingstrawbie and her children by someone from my community today. I did NOT ask this to be done and as a point of fact I very specifically told the members of my community (stream and Discord) to NOT harass or brigade Strawb in any way, to say nothing of not threatening her.

This was absolutely unacceptable and abhorrent behavior by this individual and as such they were permanently banned from my community the moment we heard of this happening.

Strawb, I am very sorry this was done to you. I have never sought any harassment or harm to come to you or your family throughout any of what has happened for the last few days, and have made this position very clear publicly.

I wish there was more that I can do beyond banning this person, but I at the very least can do this. Once again, I am very sorry this was done to you.

@Tectone I am sorry someone FORMERLY from my community made such disgusting statements about your unborn child. As I said in my post to Strawb, I did not ask anyone in my community to do it and I consistently forbid anyone to harass, brigade, or threaten anyone, particularly with what has happened recently. I was unaware of what was done until just now and I wanted to just publicly say that I'm sorry this was done and the individual who did it was already ejected from my community and all of us completely disavow them and their actions.

I pray this does not happen to anyone else with this individual (or any others that claim to be "fighting in my name") but please know that I have never advocated for attacking anyone. In fact, I am very firm about the exact opposite, to not brigade or attack anyone under penalty of immediate ejection and ostracization from my community.

I stand by this and will take action as I did tonight if it happens again. Once again, I am sorry this happened.
