In the conclusion of the essay I wrote last year about Neil Hopper and the overlaps between autogynephilia and apotemnophilia, I said this:

“The British public’s reversal on Neil Hopper — from applause to disdain — is but a small taste of what awaits when the West finally confronts the truth of what it has celebrated in the era of trans rights: a paraphilia disguised as a healthy identity, with paraphilic men paraded as cultural icons.

Just as many are now wondering what exactly was Hopper’s motivation in pursuing a career amputating limbs, in the coming years, society will similarly have to grapple with what motivated paraphilic men to invade women’s spaces, “breastfeed” infants, and call themselves lesbians, all while the world cheered them on.”

This excellent Guardian article portrays the horror that a daughter feels at the thought of her mother being cared for by such a depraved man.

But surely even worse is all the children who are going to grow up and one day learn that their father “breastfed” them for sexual kicks. 

I truly do not believe there has ever been a more insane moment in all of human history.

I am disappointed but not surprised that the men of the Feile team took to social media to gloat and crow about their intransigence. There was no win for them and representing it that way is disingenuous.

WRN wished for Feile to WANT to reinstate our panel discussion rather than be FORCED to.

However despite cancelling our event, Feile provided us with a platform far bigger than merely west Belfast to get our message heard across Northern Ireland and further afield. Conversations about whether women have the right to speak openly and honestly, about whether a publicly funded organisation - regardless of its origins - should ensure it represents ALL lawful viewpoints and experiences, and demonstrate for the world to see just exactly who is trying to marginalise who here.

Who knew women were such a threat!

This evening we have written to the CEO of @NHSEngland requesting that SEEN in Health is included in the consultation on the Trans Equality Policy.
During the Faye Russell-Caldicott vs NHS England tribunal, a senior NHSE official confirmed NHSE should consult us so we expect the consultation papers to arrive imminently.
Many NHSE staff have told us privately that they do not feel safe raising concerns through internal routes or networks. They have been directly impacted by this unlawful policy for years, but currently have no safe way to contribute to the review.
Excluding us would continue the harms already experienced by women, sex realists and allies across the organisation.
We stand ready to engage at pace.

Not a hint of regret from Gillard in her answer, but a clear admission that she didn't foresee any of the consequences of her horrendous actions in erasing women's and girls' rights. No one raised this apparently.

In an astonishing act of authoritarian overreach, NI Justice Minister Naomi Long has introduced an amendment via an Annex L (below) to the Police & Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989.

All to ensure that a man who claims to be a 'woman' can be strip searched by a female officer.

This Annex talks of 'predominant lifestyle' - but what on earth does this even mean?

And it also talks of 'efforts' to find a willing officer to consent to strip search these men - for 'efforts' read brow-beating female officers.
