@RogersHelps Calling customer service in the middle of a work day estimated a 3 hour wait time with no option to do a callback. For the love of god, hire more staff. And, if you can't manage to get more staff, pay people more.
Okay now the movie has been out a while so I will post an uncovered Spoilers Without Context.

Re: the most recent episode of The Mandalorian, why isn't it a bigger deal that droids are sentient and sapient?
I'm not super familiar with Star Wars, but I feel like that's weirdly glossed over. Does Star Wars need something like The Measure of a Man?
Finally got around to watching the most recent episode of The Last of Us and the ratio of "episodes that made me cry" and "episodes that didn't" is very distressing.
Just finished my written test for the Ontario Internship Program. Handed it in RIGHT in the nick of time...I cut it a little close and nearly missed the submission deadline.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue quietly hyperventilating in the corner at that close call.
@RubyClimber It's like you forget how to hold your face. π
Same problem if you go to physio and they say, "Okay, just walk over there and back normally.". Cool cool...how do I walk? Like, what is my normal walk? Aaaaand I'm thinking about it too much already.
Watched Wakanda: Forever for the second time and still cried like a baby at the beginning.
Been accidentally watching a lot of stuff lately that's made me cry... Last of Us (episodes 3 and 5), Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio...I think I need a round of happy things for a bit.
Whoever those people are who play horror games alone in the dark, you've got nerves of steel.
I'm playing with headphones on in a decently-lit room with my husband nearby and I'm STILL freaking out.
Started playing this game a year or two ago and then life got busy. Only got about 30 minutes in.
About to give it another go on my vacation! This time with headphones on. Wish me luck! (have I mentioned that I'm a giant wuss?π¬)
@browniepoints My track record with finishing games in general is pretty abysmal. π Last game I finished was KOTOR. Before that was Super Mario 64.
Yup, it's a horror game! But apparently it only takes about 4 hours to play...so at least there's that? π¬
@kyleshevlin As a fellow occasional depression sufferer, brains suck sometimes and I'm so sorry that you're having a rough time.
I hope you feel better soon.
*insert emoji that communicates support that is kind but not overly familiar, nor toxicly/condescendingly positive*
@trnelson I sometimes refer to food like this as "fake healthy"...like muffins the size of two fists or poke bowls with 8 cups of white rice at the bottom and drowning in spicy mayo
There's a special place in my heart for fake healthy food...π₯°π€€
Sometimes I need the ritual of...
Me: "I don't want to go for a run..."
Husband: "But it'll feel good; you like running!"
Me: "Yeah...argleblargle..." *goes for a run*
What is it about doing something for *other* people that makes a thing easier sometimes?
Like, if my husband asked me to go to the store right now in the pouring rain because he wanted a bag of chips on a whim, no prob!
But if *I* wanted a bag of chips...meh.
@The_MoBiz Keep going if you're able. It only gets better. I literally finished the series and immediately wanted to rewatch it...and I'm not a rewatch person like that.
I feel like I need to shout on the rooftops about how good the show Andor is.
I've not been a big fan of Star Wars in general because of the hard good/evil divide. Doesn't feel like it leaves any room for nuance.
Andor is ALL nuance and brilliant writing and amazing acting.
