I cut my own hair today, with a beard trimmer. When I say cut, I mean shaved one side off. Completely off. I thought the 2 meant a number 2 (6mm). Turns out 2 on a beard trimmer means 2mm. Shit!

This email I received yesterday must capture the thoughts and feelings of a generation. I’ve taught my Y11 groups since they were in Y7. They’ve been wonderful for five years. I won’t get a chance to say goodbye to them or reassure them today as I am self isolating.

Isolating now for next 14 days and feeling incredibly guilty. Wish I could encourage my two Y11 classes (taught them since Y7). Will happily spend time in school over Easter to play a small part in a national effort. Best wishes to all teachers these next two days #Corvid19uk

@mrsgeogs I’ve seen knowledge organisers work well at KS3. All HWK is self or peer marked due to the starting activity being the marking of HWK. Has its downsides of course (repetitive and the creation of organisers initially). Hope you’re doing well. I’ve no doubt you are thriving!
