Yoshi-P has a new interview with PC Gamer where he talks about some themes and tidbits about FFXIV Evercold

-He wanted to call it Absolute Zero instead of Evercold initially but that name was scrapped
-There will be instances where you have to destroy or melt ice to move forward and “become that sort of wanderer”
-Ice could also refer to someone having their guard up and being seemingly cold (in the story perhaps?)
-He came up with the general concept of Evercold 2 months after Dawntrail was released
