@PHChess I don't recall the case, but judging from the game it looks pre-agreed indeed. However: pre-arranged draws always were/are seen as no sin or a very minor sin. Tal, Kasparov, etc - everybody except for Fischer made quite a few of them. Not to be mixed with throwing/buying games.
20 years ago, on this day, I was offered and accepted a pre-game draw proposal by @EmilSutovsky as it would mean we shared first in the North Sea Cup.
FIDE is turning is blind eye to pre-arranged draws, which indeed is hard to fight efficiently but shouldn't be part of our game
@AbbyWambach I absolutely would tell men, and have told men not to over celebrate goals when the game is out of reach. Keep playing, keep scoring. But no need to show the other team up with celebrations like these. Just hope all the young kids watching know better @breegallagher_
