But after 8 years, Ontario’s justice system is overcrowded, understaffed, and falling behind.

➡️ Inmates mistakenly released and still missing
➡️ Jails operating far over capacity
➡️ Court delays caused by judge shortages
➡️ Violent offenders seeing sentences thrown out because the system is overwhelmed

Instead of fixing the root causes of crime and doing its job, the province points fingers and blames the federal government while communities are left feeling less safe.

Ontarians deserve safer communities and a government willing to protect Ontario.

I brought forward a motion calling for the timely opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge to support Ontario’s manufacturing, auto, and agriculture sectors.

Premier Ford was happy to accept an honorary degree from a university in Michigan, while Ontarians need leadership focused on jobs, trade, and economic growth.

Today, the government had the chance to back Ontario workers and businesses by letting this motion move forward, but chose not to.

There used to be a time when Metrolinx was able to communicate clearly and openly. It built trust for transit riders, but over the last few years, that's changed.
