🚨🏴 Thomas Tuchel: “There are millions of coaches who know it better after a defeat”.
“It was not a problem of structure. The match just changed completely. I make the decisions”.
The Sir Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves partnership saw:
➡️ The two-child benefit limit scrapped, lifting hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty and putting cash back into low income households.
➡️ Expanded free school meals, helping families with the cost of living and ensuring more children get a proper meal during the school day.
We have thrown out a competent left wing government essentially because of panic over mid term polling and comms issues. I despair. Burnham will be in the same mess soon enough except without the respectability on an international stage or with the markets. Ridiculous.
One of the maddest things about all this nonsense is that the government by most objective measures are doing a decent job. They’re just horrible at comms and PR (the most important bit to electability).
I have had the same conversations with MPs as @breeallegretti. The health secretary Wes Streeting, soon to be ex health secretary, is poised to launch his leadership bid tomorrow
🚨 NEW: Cabinet Ministers are now defending Keir Starmer to the media after the Cabinet meeting
Pat McFadden: "The PM will continue with his job, as he should. No one challenged [the Prime Minister]. The PM wants to carry on with his job"
Liz Kendall: "The PM talked about challenges we face, Middle East, that this Government will do what we were elected to do. PM has my full support in this. There is a process to challenge the leader, no one has made that challenge"
Steve Reed: "The PM has my full support. The Labour Party has a process for triggering an election - that has not happened. So we all intend to get on with our jobs"
Peter Kyle: "We had a purposeful Cabinet meeting, nothing has been triggered, we are working hard on the issues facing the country. Starmer has been steadfast"
@StillRyanFive The age thing is overblown tbh. If he gets a second contract he’s in rare air for Raiders draft picks lol. If being older means he’s more ready to contribute then we need that right now (because we suck).
ESPN Sources: former Ravens free-agent center Tyler Linderbaum reached agreement today on a record deal with the Raiders, who are awarding him with a three-year, $81 million deal that includes $60 million guaranteed and makes him the highest paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history.

Maxx Crosby: “I feel like I left everything I had on the table for this team. I’ve given my heart and soul and I feel like I let y’all down, man. Ever since Day 1, I’ve wanted to create and build a winner with the #Raiders.”
@MoeMoton Idk man. It’s not about min-maxing my football experience. A good organisation can build with the No.32 pick rather than 18. I do want Maxx to win. He deserves it more than any other guy I’ve watched in my 20 years following the Raiders.
