As @CPEG_CPB25 wraps up, I’m thrilled to have presented my research and won the award for Best Standard Talk! It was amazing to see so many fellow Brazilians there and super proud to have represented a bit South America! Also loved joining the fieldwork & workshops!🇨🇭🧀
Happy to share our new paper published in Proceedings B! led by @acapomorphic and @SebastianHoehna

🚨 New paper I had the honor to illustrate! 🚨
Guilherme Hermanson and Serjoscha W. Evers take a look at the survivors of the K-Pg event among the turtles and besides size note that especially diet is something that sets them apart: many of them very shell crusher!

New paper out in Historical Biology! 🐊 Led by Giovanne Cidade, we present phylogenetic definitions for several clade names within Caimaninae. Some new clade names were also proposed and defined, including Purussauria and Caimanini.

Happy to be a part of this big project led by Mario Bronzati & Matteo Fabbri—out today #OA in @CurrentBiology https://t.co/uK0XDsPa4I—on the brain endocast of a close pterosaur cousin & what it means for pterosaur brain evolution...maybe different from bird brain evolution. 1/2
🚨New paper alert!🚨🤩
Welcome the first filter-feeding pterosaur from Brazil: Bakiribu waridza, from the Araripe Basin!! 🥳
It represents the first filter-feeding pterosaur described from the tropics and it was discovered inside a fossilized regurgitate 😱

Amazing work by @acapomorphic, @basantakhakurel, @heckeberg and @SebastianHoehna
Es muy simbólico que la condena de Bolsonaro se produzca el día en que se conmemora el golpe de Estado contra Salvador Allende en Chile. Una hermosa forma de decir que las dictaduras y los golpes de estado ya no tienen cabida en América Latina.
New findings in Science suggest that rodents owe much of their evolutionary success to their thumb-nail (the first digit, D1), an adaptation that gave them dexterous hands for cracking seeds and nuts.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of @pimientoc , Kristina, and the entire organizing committee – you guys did an amazing job supporting students all over the world, especially from low-income countries. Excited for the upcoming meetings!
