🚨🏴 BREAKING: John Swinney and Lord Advocate Dorothy Bain held secret meeting on the very day Peter Murrell was indicted for embezzling hundreds of thousands from SNP funds.
Heavily redacted records reveal multiple undisclosed talks amid the scandal.

Restore Britain’s five step plan to end the welfare scam.
Number one.
No benefits for foreigners. Saves billions and billions every year. If a Somalian family is living on benefits in social housing funded by the British taxpayer, I wish them well. In Somalia. No discussion needed. Huge savings to be had.
Second.
The ballooning welfare bill is not solely down to foreign nationals, far from it. There are a huge number of British people taking the mick. The system is there for the taking, and they are doing exactly that. Claiming some disability or another, when there is evidently nothing wrong.
Face-to-face assessments are vital, regular and vigorous.
- Dedicated welfare fraud investigation units.
- Proper data-sharing between HMRC, DWP and local authorities.
- Automatic recovery of fraudulent claims from future earnings.
And actually through doing this, we can give proper support to those British men and women who genuinely need it. A fair, robust and compassionate approach.
Third.
A life on benefits for a healthy individual is NOT acceptable. If you can work, you must work. A few months to find a desired job is reasonable, but after that - if you want your benefit money, you will be put to work.
That is Restore Britain’s position.
Litter picking, street cleaning, gardening, scraping chewing gum off the pavement. Whatever. If it needs doing and you want the money, you’re doing it.
Random drug tests for those on benefits - if you’re getting high, the benefits stop.
Tough love.
Next.
Reintroduce the two child cap. Hardworking British parents shouldn’t have to subsidise indolence.
If you want more children, get a job.
Finally.
Tax cuts.
Raise the thresholds. Make it so that going back to work is financially rewarding. Obviously. Reward hard work, and people will do more of it. If people feel like going into work is actually worth it, they will do it. It must never pay to sit on benefits.
More training, more apprenticeships. A skilled and active workforce. Contributing, not taking. That is what we need.
A Restore Britain Government will ensure no household receives more in out-of-work benefits than the equivalent working family earns after tax.
The welfare system should protect those who cannot work, support those who fall on hard times, and help people back into employment as quickly as possible.
It should never be more attractive than work.
Restore Britain will reward contribution and ambition, not indolence and entitlement.
End the welfare scam, slash the bill, crush inflation.
Here’s an idea:
If a Member deliberately sabotages their own Oath-taking, then their election result will be voided and the entire election process will be rerun with the offending Member’s party footing the bill for campaigning costs of all participating parties.
Sorted.
There’s no doubt that Putin fears the return of his army home. That is why he is so afraid of the war ending without victory. And there will be no victory. He is physically afraid of his own army. That is why, if there is no ceasefire backed by specific security guarantees, he will return to war. And this time, others may be the ones under attack.
Today, Ukraine is de facto the second army of NATO – one that is not inferior to the second army in the world. And that is why NATO needs us – specifically us – de jure. This is already a fact recognized by all leaders. Putin will remain in the Kremlin until his death, and he has one goal: the restoration of the Soviet Union. Without Ukraine, this is impossible, and that is why things are so difficult for us.

Sorry, but this needs to be said again and again, until it is fully understood and accepted:
🇷🇺 The Russian Army has been fought to a standstill in Ukraine - 1.4 million casualties with about 400K deaths. The sheer scale of human and equipment losses is staggering.
🇷🇺 It means Russia is not going to precipitate a second war anytime soon. However, the Russian economy has proved to be much stronger and more resilient than Western analysts expected. Military spending has sustained growth even if inflation is high and energy export income has fallen.
🇷🇺 It is entirely possible that a peace deal could be concluded within the next 12 months. Any such agreement will only be signed off by Putin if it gifts him a large chunk of Ukraine. This will allow him to declare victory and remain in power.
🇷🇺 When the conflict with Ukraine ends, Russia will not immediately revert to a non-wartime economy. Peace will give Putin a much needed breathing space which he will use to rearm and retrain his battered army. It is likely to take a decade before Russia regains any credible military strength while the economy recovers — and it is entirely possible that China will support Russia’s rearmament process. So we could see a Russian military resurgence within 5 years. This is the risk.
🇷🇺 Whatever happens, there is no inexorable path to war with Russia. But if we do nothing, if we refuse to bolster our defences when time is on our side, it’s the same as leaving the door unlocked — we will invite aggression, because Putin is strategically ambitious and opportunistic.
🇷🇺 A strong Europe, fully prepared, with potent and flexible capabilities, plus resilient and scalable economic production, would definitely deter aggression, just as NATO’s Cold War presence in Europe kept the peace for almost half a century.
🇬🇧 So,we have a straightforward binary choice: deter aggression through strength. Invite aggression through weakness. I do not want to send my children to fight a war that could have been be avoided. If you are a parent, I hope you will agree.
We owe those who serve the UK the kit to do the job and the loyalty to stand by them when it's done. We are failing on both.
I’ve spent my whole time in government making that case. Number 10 will not listen, so I am resigning as Minister for the Armed Forces.
Letter to the PM below.🫡🫡🫡⬇️⬇️
@jeremycorbyn All the things you listed are reliant on strong defence…you fucking idiot. But you know that, you just want us as weak as possible for your paymasters in Moscow. Traitor.
Extraordinarily - and this seems to demonstrate a complete disregard of the seriousness of defence at the heart of government - John Healey was only told what the offer was for additional defence funding on Monday afternoon.
I am told Number 10 then tried to rush and publish the Defence Investment Plan on Thursday.
Then a handbrake was applied by Mr Healey and his military chiefs. The (now ex) defence secretary made clear that racing to release the blueprint without a settlement that had been accepted by him and his team would be a risk for defence and for its soldiers, sailors and aviators.
You can only imagine the tone of the exchange that must have taken place - and I know that people were in the MOD until very late last night.
But John Healey firmly believes the settlement was inadequate and, if left unchallenged, would not enable the UK to keep the country safe or meet its international commitments - such as help defend Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire with Russia.
A key detail is that Mr Healey believes defence spending must be increased to 3% of GDP by 2030, up from 2.3% now. This would guarantee tens of billions of additional pounds for defence.
But - despite the stakes and the position of the defence secretary - the Prime Minister and Chancellor agreed just to inch it up to 2.68% of GDP within that time frame, after hitting a new target of 2.6% next year (which is already being inflated by lumping in the 0.1% that is spent on the intelligence agencies).
Utterly incredible.
What must our allies and our adversaries be thinking, let alone everyone in the UK armed forces and, frankly, everyone in our country?
We all rely on a secure UK to live, work, go to school, enjoy holidays, access healthcare, spend time with friends and families.
This is not a divine right. It happens because we have security - something that might not be apparent until or unless it is compromised...
@JohnHealey_MP@OzKaterji A rarely seen principled stance. Always liked the cut of your jib in a government I was not fond of. You can hold your head high unlike the vast majority of Labour
Azealia Banks insulting the Belfast victim and the hero who helped.
Infact shes just blatantly insulting all white people here.
Apparently shes performing in my city in September. See you then 👌
The Sudanese man arrested for the attempted beheading was granted leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, led by now-Reform MPs Braverman and Jenrick, on the 28th of September 2023.
On the 26th of October 2023, one month later, Jenrick formally answered a parliamentary question with the following statements...
"The UK has a proud history of supporting refugees."
"The UK is proud to have welcomed Sudanese nationals"
"we also welcome eligible Sudanese nationals through our refugee family reunion route."
This is what Reform's 'shadow chancellor' has said about welcoming unvetted Sudanese fighting age men.
It is scandalous.
I want to know exactly what Jenrick and Braverman knew about these Sudanese men they were allowing to stay in Britain.
What checks were made? Criminal records? Anything?
They were welcoming young men from a brutally backward country that has an entirely alien culture completely incompatible with our way of life.
Why let them in? Why do it? Why endanger British men and women? How many more did they let in?
I am putting a number of formal questions/FOIs to the Home Office to obtain that information.
Jenrick and Braverman were responsible for our borders, they held the power - they let this man in, and then handed him a visa.
It is sickening.
A disgraceful failure that must never be forgotten.
I was a radio presenter and live on air in May 2023 when I had to break the news that Lee Rigby had been brutally murdered by this man and his accomplice in Woolwich. They used this machete to try to behead Rigby.
13 long years later, no lessons have been learned by the authorities. None at all.
