time trialing for most of cycling used to be just as important as high mountain climbing and only climbing focus is really only been here for 10-15 years. i think with new alien talents (seixas, finn) and remco being good at ITT, the split is going to be more equal again

i genuinely think internally the 26 tdf first remco with redbull year was a test. if he was even remotely competitive (especially after jonas dnf), i think GTs were always going to up their ITT levels close to historic amounts (low itt km's is new concept in modern cycling)
