Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
@CatoInstitute@AlexNowrasteh What's the denominator? We have no idea and neither do you, one study using geographic syllogism doesn't merit a conclusive statement.
@dorkweeb Grok:They changed just 7 instances of outdated/offensive words like "lame," "queer" (in the old sense of strange), "dumb," and "stupid" to gentler alternatives (e.g., "Pigeons are really dumb" → "Pigeons aren't very smart"). Theo explained this in a LitHub piece
@benjamincowen Ben the best thing is watching you develop real world hypotheses based on unique economic conditions then exhaustively test and back test them. In 15 more years you’ll have macro economic theories, statistical data to back them up that will be worthy of a Nobel prize.
@mikepat711 My back lot is nearer my office so I need it to ignore the front lot, and one day it did try to over ride my pin and I had to take over and it nearly caused and accident.
