First a Tory MP condemns WTE reintroduction, now a serving police officer is apparently involved in stealing peregrine eggs. Is it any wonder we’re getting nowhere in tackling raptor persecution? We need immediate law changes and a government that takes these offences seriously.

Great that #ChrisGPackham @BBCSpringwatch highlighted the problems & impact that #dogs can have on reserves, countryside etc when not under strict control. Interesting that even on leads they can have big impact on the amount of wildlife in an area. Well done Chris Packham.👍

@OareGPW has a lot to offer nature lovers. A very smart CP. #GreyWag #Songthrush #Butterflies, lots of babies, #Moorhen #Cygnets #Tits #Woodpeckers #Sprawk #Jay etc the whole place is a cocophony of bird song. Well worth the visit. (Was my playground as a boy before CP)

After a v early start #OareMarshes, the 2nd half of the day was #OareGPWCP and what difference, Birds Butterflies Insects Wildflowers etc, absolutely teeming with life.....(unlike the former atm!!)
Considering GPWs as #NewPatch until KWT get there act together on reserve!!
