Interested in many sports & politics.
Often found on my soapbox, especially about brexit and the Tories.
I grew up, my sense of humour is trapped in my youth
@Vfynn_@SeraEnergy2k@js1nin9 if you ban penalty tactics sheets, then surely you have to ban the tactics booklets coaches show to substitutes when they are coming on.
@Vfynn_ Big difference. Psg keeper had info on players that is available for all and sundry to see just by watching match tapes. Southampton were watching a closed quarters training session.
Goalies having hint sheets is nothing new. Pickford is known for taping it to a water bottle.
@JonnySutts I actually think it would be completely disrespectful of other clubs if we didn't celebrate staying up. We don't have a god given right to not be relegated, had a shocking season but escaped by the skin of our teeth. It's a different kind of celebration to winning something.
@WellOnside Though to answer your actual question, it has to be a center forward as priority. Last 7 games we have played well on the whole but looked toothless. If limited to 2 I would say CM is a priority.
@LUFC As a spurs fan, have to say fair play to Leeds admin trolling both clubs with one post. If we go down today it won't be because Leeds are less than 100% invested in the game. That said if Leeds could do the decent thing and keep west ham on the down elevator, would be great 🙂.
@_clvrky@StuartMaggs You do realise this is the party that is pushing to deregulate and get rid of the red tape that protects workers.
Aside from how affordable the policy is, concern is who will actually benefit. I doubt reform will put the red tape in place to make sure it is the worker
@StuartMaggs I think it will go the other way with the removal of worker rights. If pay is £15 an hour, you would pay £3 tax on each hours overtime (plus NI). I reckon it won't be long before business cut the overtime rate to £12 an hour because it's untaxed. It won't be workers that benefit
@PolitlcsUK@Telegraph While I suspect this is another unrealistic policy, coupled with reforms plans to remove worker rights and minimum wage, its a recipe for creating sweatshops where workers have to do ridiculous hours to survive while the owner makes huge profits and the economy sees none of it.
Just reflecting on Farage's claim that the £5m was a reward for campaigning for Brexit. Seems somewhat perverse that someone who wants to appeal to nationalists is getting wealthy for an act that has caused a huge uplift in migration and costs the UK economy each and every day.
@SpursArmyTweets Looks clear as day that the ball was in play. If they have not given on the basis that VDV was already on the floor when the ball came in play, that is a plain wrong call.
According to PGMOL, this ball is not in the air and still waiting to be kicked 🥴👍
They will literally make any sh*t up now to not give Spurs a penalty, won’t they?!
There is a big problem with the way the premier league is being ref'd . Not even just the headline decisions They used to say these things even themselves out, but this season some teams get every debatable call (just drop and yell) while others cant get clear decisions.
When @FA_PGMOL say souceks hand was in a justifiable position I can only assume the position they mean is in West Ham shirt. Ridiculous decision. Never expected any different the way this season has gone.
@fullback03 Given the time it took for Rodri's case to be heard, I'm fairly sure any ban Maddison gets will be served over Christmas.
Realistically he's more likely to get a similar punishment to Rodri, which was a fine and censure.
Disgusting that MP's are trying to smear anyone on benefits with the Benefits street which focused on a scabby street in Birmingham. Theres an adult conversation to be had about where the welfare bill can reduce. Making a common enemy out of the vulnerable isn't the way to do it.
The one question that I ponder about the £5m gift that farage is being investigated for is, if there is nothing political in it as he claims, what the hell was it for? That's not "I liked him so i treated him" kind of money, its complete control of a person kind of money.
