Fulani terrorists attacked the Irigwe community of Angwan Magaji, Kamaru Ward, Kauru LGA, Kaduna State, on the night of 16th June 2026.

Casualties:
• 9 killed: Jerry Doctor (51), Danlami Magani (49), Sunday Chibi (53), Rita Abdullahi (45), Sunday Elkan (5), Esther Kefas (5), Happy Friday (6), Moses Daddy (4), and Daddy Ibrahim (28).

•11 injured: Halla Monday (7), Mary Yohanna (9), Jummai John (42), Charity Danjuma (49), Faith Yakubu (26), Omi Yakubu (48), Ali Sandiye (70), Asabe Victor (29), Srarina Simon (4), Talatu Sunday (60), and ThankGod Danladi (8).

The Irigwe Youth Movement strongly condemns this latest attack and calls on security agencies to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators.

Dear beloved sports-loving Nigerian youths,

After watching the performances of Davido, Burna Boy, and Rema at the opening of the 2026 World Cup—at a time when Nigeria, the giant of Africa, is absent—I felt a measure of consolation. This was reinforced by the fact that many Nigerians playing for clubs worldwide are representing other countries. Felix Nmecha, for instance, set a record by scoring the fastest goal at six minutes for Germany. I write to you therefore, knowing that this country belongs to you, the youth.

You are more of stakeholders in Nigeria’s future than I am. I am 64 years old; by God’s grace, much of my journey is behind me, while yours lies ahead.

It is therefore imperative that you rise to the challenge by obtaining your PVC, your most powerful tool for driving the change you desire.

In the last three years alone, over 15 million Nigerians have turned 18—enough to decide who becomes President, Governor, Senator, Member of the House, or Local Government Chairman. Indeed, enough to shape the nation’s future.

I know many of you are sceptical about politics and political parties. I understand why, but scepticism must not become surrender.

You do not need to belong to any party or wait for anyone to organise you. Organise yourselves in your streets, campuses, communities, workplaces, churches, mosques, and social groups. Mobilise, debate, demand accountability, and take part in choosing those you wish to entrust with leadership.

If you are organised and wish to hear directly from me, invite me. I will come and share my plans for you and our nation.

Do not sit on the sidelines while others decide your future.

I appeal to you to register and vote. Your vote can shape who becomes the next President of our country.

My young friends, this is your country. Take it back.

Under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), more commissioned officers have been slaughtered.

We lost:

1. Brigadier General Musa Uba.
2. Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd).
3. Brig. Gen. Oseni Omoh (O.O.) Braimah.

4. Lt. Col. S.I. Iliyasu (March 2026).
5. Lt. Col. Umar Farouq (March 9, 2026).
6. Col. Aliyu Saidu Paiko. (October 2025).
7. Lt. Col. Umar Ibrahim Mairiga, (Mar 1, 2026).

Nigeria lost more “commissioned” army officers under Tinubu than under Buhari & Jonathan combined. The calamity that befell the Nigerian Army in 3 years is unimaginable.

We lost multiple camp commanders (including a Major in Damasak & others in Monguno). They fell to attacks, others fell to IEDs.

These are twenty, twenty-five, thirty & thirty-five years of active service wasted. They died so that politicians can soirée & party hard.

I remember when I first joined X (Twitter), I had barely 1,000 followers.

Back then, I was simply being myself. Some people encouraged me, while others questioned why I spent so much time on the app. A few people close to me couldn’t see the vision and thought I was just making noise online.

But some people believed in me from the very beginning.

My dad was my number one supporter. Every milestone, every new follower count, every achievement, I shared with him. I’ll also always be grateful to my boyfriend, now my fiancé, who paid for my first X Premium (Blue Tick) subscription in 2022 and believed in my growth when it mattered most. Their support helped keep me going. ❤️

The journey wasn’t always easy. I’ve faced criticism, lost relationships, and dealt with people who didn’t understand the opportunities this platform was creating for me. Some were supportive, while others were envious. But I kept showing up.

Today, I’m celebrating 40,000 followers on X.

And we’re only getting started.

Let us not be distracted by events around the NDC and the emergence of our candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, with Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso as running mate. The APC, ADC and other opposition forces are uncomfortable because they see our growing strength.

We may not like every driver of this NDC vehicle, but this is about rescuing Nigeria, not comfort. Peter Obi remains the best option to reset our country towards prosperity.
