@YaThinkN@jawjartopp@itskellharrison Really excited for her. They have a holding shooter, so need someone tough to drive through space. Unfortunately only court one games are streamed - the other courts are jammed in next to each other and its near impossible to film them.
Death, taxes, and South Australian mid-courters captaining the Aus U21 team at a Netball World Cup. Following in the footsteps of Maddy Proud (2015) and Hannah Petty (2019).
The Australian 21/U Netball World Youth Cup leadership team is locked in! Congratulations to Sophie Casey who has been named captain alongside co-captains Scarlet Jauncey and Olivia Wilkinson πͺ
@xLurch It would be a fair statement if those league paid all players a living wage. We can't compare netball to how other league/sports are run when they are incomparable in so many ways.
@jessbee1999 I got to watch her up close this week vs the Vixens and her screens were a real surprise - I had never noticed it before in all my years of watching. Particularly noticeable when Horjus was on court. It's not just her movement, but her overall court awareness - super impressive
Inspired by @TheMatildas, we recently started a local womenβs masters soccer comp. Six teams, 6aside, modified rules. Few had played before. For many, it was their first time in years that they prioritised themselves. All because of the Tillyβs. Get stuffed Marty Sheargold.
@dcoppel@TheNettyLife It also becomes their "product" - a sense of ownership. They know that by investing in the different TV panel shows, advertising and integrating into other Foxtel shows, advertising and socials, they are the ones who will benefit from it.
Super proud of the work of our @fuller_brand team in creating the incredible new @Adelaide_FC brand. For a more in depth, behind the scenes look at the process, our case study is now live: https://t.co/4XRiKpZIdk

It is time the media stopped referring to others as the Crows greatest AFLW player. Even as the league has grown and improved, @eb_marinoff continues to set the bench mark for work rate, intensity and impact. And, most importantly, a quality human #weflyasone
@EmilyGreenaway7@hosko@jessbee1999@kainryann Feels like one of those rules which was just carried over from "standard" netball that no one really thought through. Definitely needs to be changed.
@Jess_M_Currie@TheNettyLife Agreed. It was interesting to watch Shaw come on trying so hard to be physical. While it worked to begin with, I think it was to her detriment as the game went on.
@YaThinkN@MConallin Exactly. Take out Hadley and Watson, and suddenly Horjus is in line for a starting spot. Sometimes there is a bit of luck in the mix.
It takes time to learn the Diamonds' systems and structures - time in the training environment is still beneficial.
