The B runs are on their way. I fished mouth of lewis yesterday on the Columbia. We managed one fish and overall it was slow. Around 10 boats working the area with no success. Weren't really marking too many.
Today my friend is fishing Martins bar area and doing very well so far. It appears the Coho must be staging downstream of the Lewis waiting for increased flows. I'm going to target that area next trip.
Columbia fishing report this morning.
Lots of boats in the warrior rock/lewis area with not much catching. Decided to run up river to far end of Batchelor island and got one right at high slack.
Went bigger and bolder as the bites have been hard to come by with the warm water. 48FOW, 55ft on line counter heading fast downstream, 12oz lead. Rig in image did the trick filled with tuna, scented with squid and herring oil.
Spent the morning fishing for sockeye on Columbia. Epic day with no wind and perfect tide. We didn’t get any sockeye to the boat, but managed 4 wild steelhead and a wild chinook.
Things aren’t looking good for the sockeye run, but the steelhead run is off to a great start.
Anchored up off Batchelor Island fishing coon shrimp with smile blades, 11 FOW.
Steelhead returns on the Lewis River dropped some from last week. Still no Springers at the hatchery.
Columbia river is beginning to provide some Spring Chinook activity for those putting in the hours.
Clam digs on the horizon this coming week starting on Saturday.

Hey followers. I will be parking this page and transitioning my future fishing reports and info to my real estate account.
While I won’t be covering escapements of other rivers, you can get those updates from my friend Seth’s weekly report for SW Washington at @OregonFishingUS
Here's the Hatchery Escapement report for my home river, The Lewis.
Winter Steelhead arrived in impressive numbers this week. The #Coho are still trickling in. The flows dropped to 8,100 CFS a day ago and the water is a great color.
I hope to get out there in the next few days and provide a first hand fishing report.

🌊 November Fishing Update for SW Washington 📷
As the rivers cool, the lake fishing heats up as we wait for Winter Steelhead to arrive!
It’s that time of year in our area when things slow down for Salmon and Steelhead. Returning winter steelhead in any numbers are still a month or two away. Local trout fishing is good thanks to the recent stockings. Crabbing and clamming at the beach is an option during this early winter down time.
Here's where to find the best catches this month:

#escapement report out. Lewis got a huge boost of B runs that flitted straight up to the hatchery with the high water. First Winter Steelhead showed up too. Coho still going strong on other rivers.
Lewis Coho #escapements are somewhat alarming. Low returns on B runs so far, after two good weeks. Level was raised to 11K CFS yesterday, but starting to come down again. #Kalama Coho returns looking much better. Some winter runs showing on Cowlitz and Kalama.
Escapements are looking great. New batch of B Run Coho in the #LewisRiver. First winter Steelhead arrive on the #CowlitzRiver. #NaselleRiver is fishing well, but crowded.
Escapements are out. Lewis river late run still yet to arrive, only around 600 N-Type to the hatchery so far. Fishing the last couple trips for me prove it. Cowlitz and Naselle going strong.
Tried the airport stretch on the North Fork Lewis this morning. Nice outgoing tide back trolling eggs and plugs. Didn’t mark many fish and no jumpers. 5 other boats also fish less. #coho
