Everything Will Be Done According to Their Will, Not According to God's
An edifying word from Saint Pamvo, an elder of Saint Paisios the Great, who lived at the end of the fourth century.
One day, St. Pamvo sent his disciple to the city of Alexandria to sell the baskets they had made. The disciple stayed in the city for fifteen days, spending his nights at the guest houses of the Church of St. Mark the Evangelist. During his stay, he observed the church servants singing canons, troparia, and other ecclesiastical hymns.
When he returned to his elder, the saint saw that his disciple was deeply disturbed and asked:"My child, I see you are troubled. Did something happen to you on the way?"The disciple responded:"Nothing happened to me, Father, but we live in great negligence here in this desert!
When I went to the city of Alexandria, I saw the church officials singing canons and other hymns, and I was deeply saddened that we do not sing like them."The spiritual elder answered him:"Woe to us, child! The time will come when monks will also abandon the heavenly food of Jesus Christ given to us through the Holy Spirit. Instead, they will follow only voices and singing, which yield neither contrition nor tears. What use is it for monks to sing and shout loudly like oxen in the church or in their cells, if they lack the fear of God and humility?
My child, when we stand before God in prayer, we should stand and pray with contrition and awe. In the latter days, monks will not remain in the desert or inside the churches; instead, they will come straight from the secular world into the temples. They will follow the songs of worldly, secular sciences. In the temples, they will sing loudly, wave their hands, stomp their feet, and completely lack the fear of God. There will be no contrition in these monks, no prayer accompanied by tears, and humility will be utterly abandoned.
Behold, I tell you, my child, the days are coming when priests will abandon spiritual books. They will not keep the traditions of the Holy Fathers, nor will they believe that the Holy Fathers and great ascetics ever existed. They will write secular texts themselves and learn from them. They will not write teachings to save souls, but words meant to please men rather than God.
They will do everything according to their own will, not according to God's."The disciple then asked Saint Pamvo:"How will it be then, Father? Will Christian customs and church rituals change? Will there be no more priests, Father?"The elder replied:"There will be priests, child, but the shared love among many will dry up, bringing no small amount of sorrow. A terrible distrust is about to come. Believers will be mocked and ridiculed. People will embrace harmful teachings that will lead them into terrible unbelief and spiritual blindness. Then, people will no longer grieve for their sins, and the image of God will be distorted in the faces of many. There will be a numbness of soul, and vulgar thoughts will conquer human minds. Blindness of spiritual vision will occur, complete fleshly wisdom will take over, and spiritual hearing will be lost. Impenitence, a lack of fear of God, sinful pleasures, evil intentions, and treachery will conquer the people.
There will be a massive moral decline. Earthly rulers will be disorganized, and princes will go unrecognized. Bishops will be clothed in pride, monks will become careless about their salvation, and nuns will be careless about their vows. Then, child, everyone will only care about what to eat and what to drink. They will become too lazy to pray, yet quick to slander, lie, and condemn. There will be no imitation of the spiritual elders. The bishops will be afraid and ashamed in front of the powerful; they will not judge according to God's will, but according to their own. Disbelief will conquer all mankind. Envy, enmities, and drunken desires will overcome the old and the young, both men and women."……
"If you ever begin to think you are spiritually "well off" then you can know for sure that you aren't! True spiritual life, even on the most elementary level, is always accompanied by suffering & difficulties. Therefore you should rejoice in all your difficulties & sorrows." - Hieromonk Seraphim Rose
"It is essential to realise, that, while we make efforts to live the Christian life today, the world which has formed in our spoiled times, demands soul, both in the everyday life & in religion, & can be called totalitarian." - Hieromonk Seraphim Rose
"Speak well of those who speak evil of you.
Pay good for evil.
Pray for those who cause you various offenses, wrongs, temptations, persecutions.
Whatever you do, on no account condemn anyone; do not even try to judge whether a person is good or bad, but keep your eyes on that one evil person for whom you must give an account before God – yourself." - St Ignatius Brianchaninov
Christians were severely taxed, they were forced to pay disproportionately higher taxes than Muslims within the empire, including the humiliating poll-tax. Even pregnant mothers had to pay jizya on behalf of their unborn children.
Between the 14th and 17th centuries, the Ottomans had the the devshirme system, a practice of taking young Christian boys from their families and being raised as Muslims.
Christians were tortured, deprived of formal education, and martyred. Conversion from Islam to Christianity was a death sentence.
On Easter Sunday, April 22, 1821, the Ottoman Turks hanged the Ecumenical Patriarch Gregory V of Constantinople. He was executed in full liturgical vestments at the main gate of the Patriarchal compound. His body was left hanging for three days before being dragged through the streets and thrown into the Bosporus. The main entrance of the Phanar (the Saint Peter Gate) has been permanently welded shut till date in memory of his martyrdom.
@mahadiva_199X As an Orthodox Christian, I see the 'Satanic Panic' as a psyop meant to disqualify and discredit anyone who exposes the elite's evildoers. The spiritual war is not humans against humans, but humans and God against demons, sadly, many side with evil.

Human reproduction should not become a commercial process. Women shouldn’t be treated like breeders, selected and replaced according to whether they meet the desired specifications.
Children shouldn’t be treated as products of a system that screens, selects, and manufactures them according to their parents' wishes and not just embraced for who they are.
The women involved deserve better than to be treated as means to an end. The children involved deserve better than to be treated as products designed to fulfill adult desires.
Every child has inherent dignity. Every woman has inherent dignity.
IVF and surrogacy undermine that dignity by turning human reproduction into a marketplace where adults' preferences come first and children's rights are ignored.
We should reject these practices and work toward ending them.
The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, is always around us just like air is always around us. Whether you believe in God or not, His existence is true and His presence is real. And just as oxygen is breathed in, the Holy Spirit in like manner dwells in us and takes preeminence when we willingly open the door of our heart and breathe in.
When a terrible crime has been committed and Christianity speaks of forgiveness and loving one's enemies, many people adopt an extreme position: "If we forgive, then we have to let it go and leave it be." What is that? They will do bad things and we just forgive them?
Yes, we will forgive them. Even the most terrible criminals must be forgiven, because forgiveness does not mean the absence of punishment. A criminal should be put in jail, maybe even in an isolated cell under tight security but we have no moral right to wish for their death. Otherwise, it implies that after a person commits a crime, our hands are untied to commit lawlessness as well.
After a death penalty is carried out, the "cause of death" field is filled out as homicide. How are we any different from the criminal then? What right do we have to judge them? Just because they did it first?
Jesus Christ was crucified, nailed to a cross. Yet, He prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Of course, this is extremely difficult, especially for the victims' relatives. Without God's help, a person cannot conquer hate alone. We must love the sinner but hate the sin, and never despise others for their faults, lest we be tempted in the exact same way.
Dr. Robert Malone just redpilled the world about the jab!!
“You are more likely to become infected, have disease, or even die, if you’ve been vaccinated with the COVID-19 Vaccine compared to the unvaccinated.
These experimental Gene therapy treatments can permanently damage the DNA and immune system of your children and yourself.”
