Human female parent who likes thinking and spices. Wordsmith, humanist, environmentalist.

@Milliganreports Absolutely. I have always worked and had to deflect comments about my children suffering. Frankly I think I am setting a good example

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

So after Friday in the Melbourne office with everyone sniffling, coughing and mentioning which family members have COVID, I have resumed wearing my mask when at work. It will probably become a permanent fashion item. #CovidIsNotOver

I so pleased to see our government do the right thing - finally! #BernardCollaery #WitnessK

[Timor Sea Justice @TimorSeaJustice]

Statement from Xanana Gusmao regarding the Australian Government’s decision to cancel the prosecution of Bernard Collaery

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@fairyofbloom @MikeCarlton01 I agree entirely with this. Too much of people's voting goes along the lines of self interest, rather than looking at the greater good. I wish more people looked at the bigger picture

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@fairyofbloom @MikeCarlton01 I'm not a Joyce voter, but I lived in New England for many years. He actually has a good record for bringing resources, infrastructure and funding to the area. For a regional city this is very important and I think this is why he is so popular (I've put some thought into this!)

This election is about more than who leads, it is about what their leadership will do #auspol #AusVotes2022 https://t.co/lUZY6AN4Na

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@murpharoo This is the inevitable outcome of declaring that civil servants no longer develop policy to guide the government, and only implement the government's decisions.
I fervently hope this changes with a new government. So alarming, but not surprising #auspoll2022

[Christine Milne AO @ChristineMilne]

Only 55% of 18 year olds are enrolled to vote. No point in joining #SchoolStrikeForClimate or bemoaning fate of planet if you don’t use your power when it counts. You can change the country. If you have a young person in family persuade them to enrol. #auspol

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@AusElectoralCom Yes good to see. I'm in Chisolm and we got one clearly branded with Labor and another with no branding at all but looking official. I briefly thought it was from the @AEC until I looked closer. Guess which part sent that one? Yes, Liberal

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

Hey @hellogames love the Outlaws update concept but I can't go more than 3 minutes without being attacked. I work too hard for this stress in my down time. Could you please tone it down a bit? #NMS #NoMansSky #NoMansSkyOutlaws

Typical Coalition ploy to buy an election by throwing money to target voters. Hoping enough people remember how incompetent our fed government has been, as we vote for our leaders in the face of the environmental crisis and a potential new world war #auspol #AusPol2022

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@BethanyinCBR @qwadja @age_no_barrier Thank you for letting us know. I'll always remember Kylie's courage and determination, and never forget what she fought against.

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@essentialenergy Hi. Any news on the outage in Mandurama?

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@snowycats @relctntidealist @RonniSalt This is the result of having professional politicians and political dynasties. Their connection to being representatives of the people gets further and further away

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@AshDahlstrom Disgraceful behaviour. I hope they find who did this

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@carly_solstice Leaving the supermarket and a friend who had moved 800kms away 4 years ago surprised me with hello! Immediately followed by being surprised with a hello from another friend I'd moved 800kms away from 5 years earlier. I was literally speechless

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

Am really disturbed by the growing behaviour of malcontents and conspiracy nuts. Civilisation is as civilisation does. Act with compassion, intelligence and empathy, and be able to compromise for the greater good. Otherwise we will all suffer.

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@qwadja Sounds like a solid plan. We are fortunate to have access to these things and should use them when needed ❤

[Fi @Fi_of_the_blue]

@qwadja Lovely to 'see' you again. I hope you know that with you taking your stand, you inspire others. We are all the richer for your strength at the time, and the results will be long lasting. You're a Queen.
