Fact: Some people are just full of shit. They say one thing and do another. Give it enough time, and the pattern becomes obvious: what they say they stand for and how they actually behave are two very different things.
The brain is designed to learn through constant repetition and active, hands-on involvement.

We often imagine opportunity arriving at our doorstep.
More often, it doesn’t.
The prepared person walks toward uncertainty, knocks on many doors, accepts that most will remain closed, and keeps going until one finally opens.
Open-mindedness doesn't mean going along with what you don't believe in; it means considering the reasoning of others instead of stubbornly and illogically holding on to your own point of view. To be radically open-minded, you need to be so open to the possibility that you could be wrong that you encourage others to tell you so.
