No the funniest thing is nobody here knows the point of life. We all try to find it, but nobody really knows. I would say finding someone you love, and having a family would be the point of life. But if you take the opposite of what I said, do you think the point of life is saving money? For what is money when you’re dead? It’s nothing. It’s paper. Can’t take it with you. Money allows for you to travel this great rock though, with many many things to see, try, eat, do. I would say having fun along the journey of life, is definitely a part of the purpose that we serve here.
Stephen Curry at the point guard,
Kobe Bryant at the Shooting Guard
Kawhi Leonard at the Small Forward
Giannis at the Power Forward
Hakeem at the Center
This works because they would be the best defensive team of all time, even with Curry out there, and Curry v Curry cancels out, Kobe great defender and great ball handler, draws a lot of attention in man to man situations, which will free up Steph. Giannis and Steph would be electric, the way they can open the floor up for each other, Giannis also being a fantastic defender. Kawhi is one of the best 2 way players of all time in his peaks. Hakeem might be one of the only bigs who can really match up with Shaq and not get absolutely physically destroyed.
@PhukUrFewlings@AnnieAgar Matthew golden breakout year 1k receiver, Christian Watson, fantastic year, going for 1,200 yards, and Jayden Reed going to 650 out of the slot. Tucker Kraft getting 700 yards receiving as well. We about to show you what investing in your players does.
@Microinteracti1 Trump has never had muscle in his life lmfao. Granted be had all the time in the world to get some because he doesn’t work and is a millionaire…
The biggest issue is living where the bank tells you that you should. Buying the $800,000 house because you can afford it, instead of buying the comfortable, $350,000 house that you can put work into and one day sell for over 800k. You can live in a nice area and not live above your means, and keep yourself pretty frugal.
@HowAboutThat21@TheAlphaThought “Everyone around them thinks they’re barely getting by” if that’s the perception you’re putting out, it’s highly likely you’re not really spending money to do anything fun.
So you bought what now would be a $550,000 or $600,000 house as your first house? I’m lucky if I can buy a $150,000 without breaking the bank lmao. Besides the point though, I think the person who made the post speaks for the larger part of your generation. There truly was opportunity, and the ability to go out there and do it. The dollar is worth a fraction of what it was then, so it’s statistically just harder to buy the things you want. I would say nobody had it good since the early 1900s. But the majority of things that my generation sees wrong with the world today, is being instilled and enacted by your generation. Constant wars, budget increases, unkept promises, walls we don’t need etc. it’s just the perception that we are given, because boomers in our minds are the ones still voting and siding with the issues in our lives.
You don’t have to cut out luxuries or niceties so you can have money later. What can you do with money if you’re dead? Nothing. Money is just an asset. Do the math, find out how much you need down the line, set goals to achieve different salary bumps through your career, invest a little and spend a little. You don’t have to be broke or act broke to save money.
@MssJilly@OrevaZSN All I need to know is that in the 70s and 80s single income was a possibility, now you need to be in the top 10% of earners to even make it work, but 60% of the households were single income with 3-5 kids in the 80s.
Get a couple of hobbies (primarily ones that allow you to meet different people) a lot of depression, and sadness comes from not having the right people in your life. Some that come to mind would be something like a CrossFit class (or other exercise variation), movie club, rec sports league, book club, card tournaments, etc. I feel like even with gaming or something like that can help, but having real friends who you can hang out with in real life definitely helps.
@HugggHuhyu93210@theblockspot Meh, not glazing, just knew the Thunder were pretty damn good, and was still butthurt the Twolves lost, I feel like they had more to give for sure
@hayes_mma@tokyo_111 If you save appropriately and aren’t literally braindead, it can go a long way lmao. There’s people doing a lot more with a lot less.
@Crypto_Wurm@mcgregorufc22@TheNotoriousMMA He's been walking around at 180 for years now, so he likely will be pretty used to the weight in the fight. I don't really see it hurting his gas tank.
