The nickname of Spain's national team is "La Furia Roja", translated: The Red Fury. I think the way they dismantled the French team yesterday was probably the most graphic illustration of that nickname. As I watched this aerial shot of the second goal, what my mind painted was the image of a truly red-hot sahelian sandstorm, almost gentle while gathering its fury, almost hypnotic while advancing, then suddenly too vast, too organised and too inevitable to survive.

This was architecture, and damn, it is beautiful. 🙌👏

That’s why I keep saying that most people don’t really know José Mourinho. Mourinho was never a manager who built teams just to sit back and defend blindly. His teams were always balanced defensively solid, but packed with creativity, intelligence, and players who could hurt opponents in an instant. Defending was a strategy, not an identity.

At Chelsea, he had Lampard arriving from midfield to score goals, Drogba punishing the slightest mistake, and explosive talents like Robben creating constant danger. At Inter, he had Eto’o, Sneijder, and Milito capable of deciding games at any moment. At Real Madrid, he combined the control of Xabi Alonso with the firepower of Cristiano Ronaldo, Özil, and Di María. These were not defensive teams; they were ruthless teams that knew when to attack and when to suffer.

The biggest misconception about Mourinho is that he only parks the bus. Every great Mourinho side scored goals, created chances, and entertained while remaining difficult to beat. Compare some of today’s overly structured and robotic teams to Mourinho’s best sides, and you’ll quickly see the difference. His teams had personality, freedom, efficiency, and above all, they knew how to win.

A sickle cell warrior was admitted yesterday at EKSUTH. He is still there as we speak. Free medical care. Free blood transfusion (1 pint of blood), free oxygen.

Nobody is going to pay a single kobo!

All under BHCPF through Ekiti State Health Insurance Scheme.

Our NGO @OAinitiative_ has succeeded in enrolling over 500 warriors under this free medical care in Ekiti State.

The FG should really be talking about this intervention and blow their trumpet!

Stamp Duty charges has been in existence since 2019. The new law says that the sender of the money will now bear the charges instead of the receiver.

If I buy N10,000 worth of pepper from Iya Risi, Iya Risi gets the full 10k value for her items, instead of N9,950 and I bear the cost.

Meanwhile, 85% of Stamp duty collections goes to states. Just like income tax, states are the major beneficiaries.
