Junior #3 Henry Humes set the tone early for @HFHS_BASEBALL tossing 4 innings of 2 hit baseball while striking out 6 picking up his first win in the season opener at home. Junior #4 Demir Heidelberg hit a solo HR in the bottom of 3 to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead. H-F added some insurance in the bottom of 6 with RBI doubles from Jhames Holley & Nick Calomino.

@WYHSBaseball had a couple of opportunities to get on the board and make it a game but Humes turned a double play in the top of 4 & Junior reliever Antonio Brown Jr. got a strikeout to end the Dolphins threat with RISP in the top of 6.

Sophomore leadoff hitter Theo Kimmeth was 2-4 for Young & senior 1B Authur Stamps Jr. was 2-3 for H-F.
