@jimwolff12 I mean, in the moment it was legit.
Since the moment wasn't a playoff game or super bowl, and its not a td pass it won't be remembered like that.
But he makes crazy throws like that every game.
As a Bears fan, we've never seen this.
We haven't been spoiled by Packers fans
@jimwolff12 Back shoulder, through 3 defenders and JUST over the fingertips of an All-Pro Safety
You are funny but ANYONE should able to realize this was a special throw.
@SonheimS He is on IR but Ben said he's coming back - might happen next week, they are on a mini break right now. We'll find out Wednesday or Thursday most likely
Definitely could come to that, the problem is we haven't seen enough and don't have enough information to know.
That decision won't come until the offseason of 2029.
A LOT can change in that amount of time, so trying to make the decision 3 years early is just silly.
Let it play out.
This whole "Bears can't afford Caleb and Rome" thing shows a lack of understanding of the Bears cap space and teams around the NFL.
I didn't even mention Sam Darnold and JSN.
Oh like how the Bengals couldn't afford to re-sign Ja'Marr Chase and had to trade Tee Higgins? Oh wait.
Can the Rams afford Puke or Davante Adams?
Surely they can't have a DLINE. Oh wait.
But the Cowboys can't afford CeeDee Lamb after paying Dak right? Oh.
What about the Lions? They surely had to trade Amon Ra St. Brown or Jahmyr Gibbs since they paid Goff right???? Oh.
Can teh Bills afford a WR after paying Josh Allen? DJ Moore thinks so.
This conversation doesn't make sense, and Rome isn't playing like a guy who is going to demand $40 million a season so that should be a BONUS for keeping Rome, not a negative.
The Bears have less invested in 2028 and the future than ANY team in the league.
ONLY Darnell Wright is under contract.
They can afford to keep ANYONE they want.
This is pure nonsense and not something that needs to be discussed for another year to 3 years at the earliest.
Yeah I am not arguing that he has played well.
Just think people should understand what he meant here, because if you go through the comments - NOT A SINGLE PERSON did.
Just think we should correct the misinformation that is spreading. Fighting a losing fight, but at least I tried ya know? Better than click bait or making things up.
I will at least always tell it as it is.
@cutevryonebears JJ was saying he needs to earn his cap hit.
He wasn't saying he needed a new deal, he was saying he needs to PROVE he is a top corner, or he could be cut next year.
I thought the same thing when i read it, but here my out.
I think people are taking him out of context, what he meant is that IF he doesn't play up his cap hit, he will be cut next year cause he can save us a bunch of money.
I think JJ is smart enough to realize that, so he was basically saying he needs to EARN that contract.
He is basically saying he needs to prove he is who he believes he is.

Wasn't even planning on watching the World Series cause we have College Football and a Bulls game on, but watched the first half of the 1st Inning and saw the Brewers give up 4 runs.
