Even casual or occasional drug use brings risks of harm that could affect you for life.
There are serious effects from using or experimenting with different types of drugs and there can be long-lasting consequences.

· Be as honest as possible about what was taken, how much and when.

There’s always a risk in taking drugs – even ones you’ve tried before. Those risks get increased if you mix drugs with other things including alcohol.
Drugs are always unpredictable - Knowing what to do for a friend in case of an emergency and acting fast is vital.
Remember these four things:
· If you’re around someone who becomes unwell after taking drugs or alcohol, call 999 immediately.
· Getting help is essential – don’t delay because you are worried you’ll get into trouble.
There’s always a risk in taking drugs – even ones you’ve tried before. Drugs that haven’t been prescribed and on the illegal drugs markets aren’t regulated - we don’t know exactly what’s in them.
And if you mix them with other things like alcohol, the risk goes up.
Overdose Awareness Remembrance Walk

Meet at Anstruther Lower Town Hall at 6pm or 6.30pm at Lifeboat Shed Middle Pier.
Where we will hold a short remembrance, and a minute silence. Followed by refreshments at the Anstruther Lower Town Hall.
