My success as a creator traces back to one pivotal moment in 2017.

I was lost in a job I didn't enjoy. I desperately wanted to do something out on my own – but I couldn't get myself to move forward.

So I hired a coach who gave me a simple exercise:

Go for a walk. No phone, no music, and no distraction.

He told me to bring a pen and notebook and to listen to whatever voice was playing in my mind.

Below is a photo of what I was telling myself over and over again:

I am not an artist. I don't have good ideas, I can't do creative work, and I am less valuable because of it.

I truly believed that I wasn't creative. I wanted to do creative things, but I felt like I couldn't.

The next day, to prove myself wrong and start letting go of this limiting belief, I began writing a daily newsletter.

After a full year of writing a daily newsletter, I no longer believed this. Even better – I kept creating.

Now, my entire livelihood (which is much more lucrative than that job) is based on my creativity.

YOU can change your beliefs.

And by changing your beliefs, you can change your reality.

SEARCH won’t make you viral…

But I’ll be blunt… you’re not going to go viral anyway…

Less than 1% of all the NON Shorts videos ever uploaded to YouTube got 1M views…

Less than 1% of channels even get Silver Play Buttons (100K Subscribers)

However Searchable content while overlooked because it only drives less than 10% of YouTube traffic…

Is often traffic not being fought for competitively.

And still drives billions of views to YouTube every single month.

90% of all traffic on YouTube goes to the top 3% of channels.

Which means if you’re a small YouTuber you’re fighting, While under resourced, for what’s left of that attention with 97% of market…

Look for advantages where there is unclaimed and uncontested territory.

If you can get to 10,000 Subscribers you succeed where 90% of your peers have failed.

Build on the foundation of that success.

@robertoblake I bought my first house at 52 yo and 3.25% interest.. in AZ after decades of raising kids on my own in california and not being able to afford to buy. I was a renter for decades. I think this could work for you. Just be diligent in vetting and communication.
