I just walked out of the final presentation of my undergraduate career
8 years ago I dropped out of college. I hated what I was studying. But getting involved with OoT decomp, and ultimately being a part of the speedrunning community, is what gave me the courage to go back❤️

@YIndigence Yeah. It involved extracting the files from the game with a homebrewed switch, decompressing, editing the relevant lua file, re-compressing, and using the file hot-replacing feature of atmosphere (I forget what the official name of the feature is)

Here is the pause menu with the hack removed. It is clearly on purpose. However things seem fine without it, so Im not sure why its a thing to begin with.

Also still have no idea how that improper address is being resolved, but it is working as they intended.
