I am convinced that water war between India & Pakistan will lead to hot war, which would drag China in it, not indirectly, but directly, with disastrous consequences for South Asia, especially India. Climate change is playing havoc around the globe & not sharing technical data with Pakistan is pettiness.
The two nations have fought wars, but never has the 1960 Indus Water Treaty been affected. Water, like nuclear facilities should remain untouched. Since 1991, when the exchange of bilateral nuclear facilities list was ratified, India & Pakistan have each year on Jan 1 been exchanging respective lists.
Water is part of our (India & Pakistan) civilisation. Don't equate it with terrorism.
I don't want to comment on this Sarkari Mussalman writer. He surely, won't understand that India's civilisation is many civilisations' rainbow. Pakistani people are not our enemies, they are 'US'!

The changing times have not only weakened blood relations but also impacted human connections. In our younger days, living in a street or locality used to form a strong bond. A bond of love and closeness. Neighbours were sometimes closer than family members. A simple dish was shared, and fruits were sent across. All happy moments and sorrows were shared jointly, as if they were personal. Sadly, nowadays, people don't even know who lives beside them. Meetings or the sharing of treats, moments of joy or sorrow, are almost unheard of. We are just robots, lacking any feelings or emotions. Tragic!

Germany has around 25,000 castles, and most of them are ruins. The one in this photo, Burg Eltz, is one of only three in its whole region that war never destroyed.

The same family has lived in it since the year 1157. That comes to more than 850 years and somewhere around 33 generations, and it passed to the next one in 2018. The line in the original post holds up too. Germany really does have more castles than America has McDonald's, roughly 25,000 against about 13,500.

Almost none of the other castles got that kind of ending. Most went up when Germany was split into hundreds of small territories and every lord wanted his own fortress. Over the years they were burned down or picked apart in sieges, and plenty were just left to fall in. When the army of Louis XIV swept through the Rhineland in the late 1680s, it flattened dozens of them. Eltz should have been on that list. It got spared because one of the family lords, Hans Anton zu Eltz, was a senior officer in that same French army, and he quietly had his own home crossed off the list of castles to tear down.

The one real attack came earlier. From 1331 to 1336 the Archbishop of Trier laid siege to it. He even built a smaller castle on the hill above just to fire down on it with some of the first cannons in the region. The family ran out of supplies and gave in. They had to pull down the outer walls, but the castle itself was never taken.

There is a reason it looks like a dozen stone houses crammed onto one rock. In 1268 three brothers split it between them, and each branch built its own wing and lived there at the same time. To keep relatives from killing each other inside their own walls, they signed a written treaty, a castle peace deed, that spelled out the punishment for any crime done inside. Murder someone in the castle and you lost every right to it, for good.

For decades the castle sat on the German 500 mark note, until the euro replaced it. Today about 70 of its rooms are open as a museum, full of 850 years of one family's armor, art, and furniture that never once had to be rebuilt from the ashes.

Found in 1867 inside a jungle cave, this feral boy named Dina Sanichar, preferred eating raw meat, had trouble standing on two feet, growled like a wolf, and gnawed on bones to sharpen his teeth. He never learned to speak, and became the inspiration for The Jungle Book's character of Mowgli.

Dina Sanichar is one of the most famous, and tragic, cases of a so-called "feral child."

The boy was reportedly discovered in 1867 by hunters near Bulandshahr in northern India and was said to be living among wolves. He was taken to the Sikandra Mission Orphanage near Agra, where missionaries named him Dina Sanichar. "Sanichar" means Saturday, the day he arrived.

Accounts from the orphanage describe a child who walked on all fours, preferred raw meat, showed little interest in human interaction, and never developed spoken language despite years of effort. Over time he learned some human behaviors, such as wearing clothes and using utensils, but he never acquired normal speech.

His story became important to scientists studying language development. Cases like Sanichar's helped support the idea that there may be a critical period in childhood during which humans are best able to learn language. Once that window passes, acquiring language becomes dramatically more difficult.

Many writers have connected Sanichar's story to The Jungle Book, published by Rudyard Kipling in 1894. While there is no evidence that Mowgli was directly based on Sanichar, the parallels between a boy raised by wolves and Kipling's famous character are striking.

Sanichar eventually developed a strong addiction to tobacco after observing others smoking at the orphanage. He died in 1895, likely from tuberculosis, at about age 34. His life remains one of the most frequently cited examples in discussions of human development, language acquisition, and the effects of extreme social isolation.

दिल्ली के जिस होटल में आग लगी थी वहीं सामने रियाजउद्दीन के गद्दे की दुकान है, जब आग लगी और लोग होटल से कूदने लगे तो

रियाजउद्दीन ने वहां अपनी दुकान के सारे गद्दे बिछा दिए जिससे 8-10 लोगों की जान बच गई, इसमें उनका लगभग 2 लाख का नुकसान भी हुआ, लेकिन

रियाजउद्दीन कहते हैं कि वो बहुत संतुष्ट हैं कि लोगों की जान बच गई।
