@officialzilf It isn't whether you're still grieving, that could be years. Do you think you're fit to work at what is after all, an important job where you need to concentrate.
@rohan_connolly@ESPNAusNZ To Niddrie it was massive support. You'd see Nic Martin in Puckle St, or a few in Rise St. Now it is a corporate club run by corporates for their mates. The Freo game scared them because we didn't turn up. The thing they took for granted suddenly wasn't there. But that wasn't..3
@rohan_connolly@ESPNAusNZ Brad Scott's fault, or the weather, or injuries. Just the culmination of events set in train 25 years ago. Instead of a training base next to the Hall of Fame we have great facilities almost no-one visits. Hoping for Hird is wishing for a time the club mattered. Will I go Sunday?
@rohan_connolly@ESPNAusNZ I'm a couple of years younger than you. Stood at the other end at WH. For all this I think the club is unanchored. They foolishly made a stand at l against the bowls club and ran out to nowhere. Previously everyone in the area was Essendon, or kept a low profile. Ascot Vale..2
@PrinceISname I was at both games. That Sydney game was freezing. A copper wanted to borrow my snow hat level of cold. Checked the records, 10 degrees. Sunday was 16.
I call bollocks!
