#WDAD2025 Duchenne affects 1 in every 3,500 male births and a rare number of females, each year there are 20,000 new cases diagnosed, 54 each day worldwide. It occurs in all races and cultures.
Duchenne typically diagnosed in early childhood, &on average live till early 20s
