I wrote about Mortal Kombat, Malignant, and The Matrix: Resurrections and why I think they're some of the most interesting films to come out this year.

Ti West says that Scrooge uses logic & good arguments against others in his movie ‘EBENEZER’.
“As his Scrooge cuts someone down verbally or as he makes a financial point or withdraws, you do understand why he’s doing it.”

Gotta love the commentary team of @WWEGraves@reymysterio and @JCLayfield on @luchalibreaaa — more commentators should mark out like crazy when they see someone pull off a corkscrew Frankensteiner
The play is also premiering in Stratford-Upon-Avon, which is like the Westerosi equivalent of important plot stuff happening in like Riverrun or White Harbor
ASOIAF fans getting our first hit of new story/lore in 15 years and it's not only ambiguously canon but also being relayed entirely in missives from across the sea describing a play that only a few hundred people have seen. we have suffered more than anyone in history.
Rewatching the 2004 Van Helsing. One has to imagine the other vampire elders are kind of annoyed that Dracula got a bunch of them killed with a sun bomb at their fun Halloween party
Insomniac's ‘WOLVERINE’ is set in a world where the X-Men doesn’t exist.
• Wolverine, Mystique & Sabertooth form Team X with Nathanial Essex to protect mutants
• Bolivar Trask & Trask Industries are the main villains - Lady Deathstrike also features as the leader of The Hand
@johnkatsanakis I do worry there’s a secondary market issue for movie theaters now too. Seems like everything is up for grabs for speculators to buy up and sell off.
Maybe I’m spoiled from watching Hoyte van Hoytema-shot films but I feel like big budget filmmaking has for the most part completely forgotten how to shoot darkness
If I lived in Nolan’s Ancient Greece I would abuse Zeus’s Law so badly. I wouldn’t even have a job. I’d just constantly be turning up to people’s houses
IMO everyone Telemachus said was Athena in disguise was in fact the goddess in disguise.
This includes Odysseus — who has Athena with him even if no one can see her. Just reading Telemachus as naive misses the point the film is making about belief
anyone saying zendaya isn’t playing athena, just odyssey’s manifestation of guilt and that no gods appear in the film is just really missing the mark here
