Saw a couple of founding ferrets having a wet game of catch tonight! @_HarrySolomon
We’re not so keen on this wet weather and we’re allergic to hand sanitizer so back into hibernation for us.
@ivybridgecc let us know when the 6-aside is happening and we will come back out!
Ferret Fact!!!
Did you know that when threatened in the wild, Ferrets will perform a hypnotic dance that will send their prey into a trance!
If threatened today, don’t be surprised if you see a few moves from us, especially @jamespbullock#moveslikejagger#dancing
Last up is the agile and ‘all round’ athlete @joe21benson. Joe has years of experience watching the ball fly to boundary and is nicknamed the bowling machine. Joe has been working on his batting this year and loves a slog! #thereforthebeer#bolasponsor
Number 5 this year is veteran, Des Solomon! Des has played his fair share of cricket and will now take the gloves behind the stumps! Des is a left handed bat who is guaranteed to score runs! Here’s a video of him having a hit at Ferrets training tonight! #slogger#experience
Another newbie coming up now! We would like to introduce you to @Rory_Woodland! Not much is known about Rory except he is dating the skippers sister and he is friends with @Gloscricket batsman, @bobbybracey25! Let’s hope he’s been having lessons! #unknown#couldbeaworldie
Whilst @jamespbullock is a number 11 bat, his performace with the stick has been likened to Mr Stick Cricket! Let’s hope for some big hitting from this big character on Sunday! #slogger#number11#bowler
New signing @jamespbullock has actually been a Ferret since 2008. James is an opening bowler and number 11 bat, even in a 6 aside team! He has bowled 2536.4 overs for Ivybridge, taking 476 wickets at an average of 18.81. He recently moved away so it will be great to see him.
