🇪🇺 EUROPE’S DECLINE IS SELF-INFLICTED - AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT

Europe today has no serious internet sector, no global tech champions, and no innovation engine capable of competing with the U.S. or Asia.

Its economy is stagnant, its industrial base is hollowing out, unemployment remains structurally high, and energy dependency has become a permanent vulnerability.

This is not bad luck, it is the result of deliberate choices.

Crippling regulation, punitive taxes, ideological climate policies, and hostility toward free markets have suffocated growth and driven capital elsewhere.

Europe lectures the world on values while importing energy, outsourcing innovation, and regulating itself into irrelevance.

To rebuild anything, infrastructure, industry, competitiveness, Europe would need to deregulate, cut taxes, abandon climate absolutism, and embrace real market economics.

These are reforms Europe refuses to make, even as its decline accelerates.

The tragedy is not that Europe cannot compete, it is that it chooses not to.

There is something revealing about a vast political bureaucracy deciding it must sanction a single Swiss analyst for contradicting the “approved” narrative on Ukraine. If your arguments are strong, you debate him. If your legitimacy is solid, you ignore him. When you reach for a sanctions list instead, you’re signaling something else: that the story Brussels tells about this war – and about its own role in it – may not be robust enough to face open, unfiltered scrutiny.

The EU has started using its Russia sanctions regime not just against oligarchs and officials, but against Western analysts.

In December, Brussels put Jacques Baud – a Swiss citizen living in Belgium – on its sanctions list. Not for financing the war or running cyber units, but for his commentary on Ukraine and NATO, labelled “pro-Russian propaganda” and “disinformation.” Asset freeze, EU-wide travel ban, no criminal conviction, no trial.

You don’t have to agree with Baud to see the problem. When a political body can punish speech by foreign-policy decree, the line between defending democracy and managing orthodoxy starts to blur.

My new piece looks at what this precedent means for ordinary Europeans, who are already paying the financial cost of the war and now face a quiet narrowing of what can safely be said about how we got here.

Co vy na to? (prosím neřešte slovo nejde, nemáme na to a neřešte v TÉTO fázi kolik to bude stát)

Každý občan si bude platit daně sám. Dostane celou částku na účet. Zrušíme OSVČ, zavedeme stejný systéme pro všechny.

1. Občan bude vědět kolik platí státu.
2. Postupně umřou důchody, protože o ně nebude zájem, státu zůstane pouze nouzová páteřní péče
3. Starost o seniory převezme kompletně soukromý sektor
4. stejně se zdravotnictvím
5. Občan si zvolí svůj balíček (chci nemocenskou, spořím si na ztrátu zaměstnání, odstupné)

Benefity:
Osobní zodpovědnost každého vzroste
Firmy ušetří obrovské peníze za administrování zaměstnanců
Zmizí zlá krev mezi zaměstnanci a OSVČ

Zní to utopicky? Koukněte se kolem sebe, kdo ještě dnes věří, že se stát o něj dokáže postarat???

@radim_politik @KoudyMK Jenže to už vůbec neplatí. Po dekádách kopírování se už naučili kopírovat ne výrobky ale celý proces výroby. Mají vlastní design týmy, často evropské a výsledek je často i napřed před západem - např koukni na jejich automotive.
